Launchpad provides a central dashboard for your tourism business. It offers a quick overview of bookings, revenue, and notifications, helping you stay organised and make informed decisions to grow your tourism offering.
Accessing this feature
Log in to your Tourism Accelerator account. Once you’ve successfully logged in, you'll automatically land right on your Launchpad! It’s the very first thing you’ll see. You can also always get back to your Launchpad from anywhere else in the Tourism Accelerator platform by clicking the 'Launchpad' option in the main navigation menu on the left-hand side of your screen.
How to use it
Taking a Moment to Look Around
When you first arrive on your Launchpad, don't worry if it looks like there's a lot of information. It's designed to be comprehensive, but we'll break it down. Take a deep breath and just let your eyes wander over the different sections. You'll see things like "Quick Overview," "Recent Bookings," "Notifications," and more.
Understanding Your Quick Overview
This is usually located right at the top of your Launchpad. Here, you'll find key performance indicators (KPIs) presented in a really easy-to-understand way. You might see things like:
Bookings Today: How many new bookings you've received.
Revenue This Week: Your earnings over the last seven days.
Upcoming Guests: Who's visiting soon!
This section is your daily pulse check for your business.
Checking Your Notifications
Look for a section called "Notifications" or "Alerts." This is where we’ll let you know about important updates, new features, or any actions you might need to take, like responding to a guest query or confirming a booking. It’s a great habit to check this regularly to stay on top of things.
Exploring the Quick Links/Actions
You'll probably spot a section with buttons or links that say things like "Add New Listing," "View All Bookings," or "Manage My Profile." These are your shortcuts to the most common tasks you'll perform within Tourism Accelerator. Click on one that piques your interest – you can always come back here!
Customising Your View (If Available)
Some parts of Launchpad might allow you to customise what you see. Look for little gear icons or "Edit Dashboard" options. If you find one, feel free to play around! You might be able to rearrange widgets or choose which reports are most prominent for you. Don't worry, it's simple and you can always change it back!
Ensuring Your Profile is Up-to-Date
While not strictly on the Launchpad itself, it’s always a good idea to ensure your business profile is up-to-date. Often, there's a link to "My Profile" or "Account Settings" directly from your Launchpad or the main menu. Making sure your contact details and business information are correct is an important first step!
Tips
Make it a Daily Check-in: Just like you might check your emails, make a habit of popping into your Launchpad for a few minutes each morning. It’s a fantastic way to start your day with a clear understanding of your business.
Personalise Your View: If customisation options are available, take the time to set up your Launchpad so your favourite and most important metrics are front and centre. This makes it truly yours.
Use the Quick Links: Those shortcut buttons are there for a reason! Get familiar with them – they'll save you heaps of time clicking through menus.
Don't Be Afraid to Click Around: The best way to learn is by exploring. You can't break anything, so feel free to click on different sections and see what information they reveal.
Set Goals: Use the insights you gain from Launchpad to help set weekly or monthly goals for your bookings or revenue. Seeing your progress visually can be incredibly motivating!
