Accessing this feature
You can find your notifications via:
The Bell Icon: On the top right-hand side of your Tourism Accelerator dashboard, youβll typically see a little bell icon (π). This is your main notification centre! If there are new notifications waiting for you, you'll often see a small number or a dot on the bell, letting you know there's something to see.
Through Your Settings: Sometimes, you might want to adjust how you receive notifications. You can usually find these settings by clicking on your profile picture or name in the top right corner (where you might also log out). From there, look for an option like "Settings" or "Notification Preferences."
How to use it
Viewing Notifications
Click on the π (Bell Icon) in the top right corner of your screen.
A panel will slide out or a page will open, showing you a list of all your recent notifications. You'll see a summary for each notification β perhaps a new booking, a message, or an important update. New or unread notifications might be highlighted or have a distinct colour to make them easy to spot.
To learn more about a specific notification, click on its title or summary in the list. This will take you directly to the relevant page on the platform β for example, to the new booking details or the guest's message thread.
After you've seen a notification, mark it as read to keep your feed tidy. Some notifications will automatically be marked as read once you click on them. For others, you might see a small Mark as Read button or icon (often a tick mark or an eye icon) next to each notification, or even a Mark All as Read button at the top of your notification feed.
Click on Mark as Read for individual notifications, or Mark All as Read if you've caught up on everything.
Adjusting Notification Preferences
Click on your Profile Picture/Name (top right of your screen).
Select Settings from the dropdown menu.
Find and click on the Notifications or Notification Preferences tab or section.
Here, you'll see options to:
Choose what you get: You might be able to tick boxes for things like "New Bookings," "Guest Messages," "Task Reminders," "Platform Updates," etc. If there's something you don't need to be notified about, you can simply untick it.
Choose how you get them: You might have options to receive notifications "In-App" (meaning they appear in your bell icon feed) or "Via Email" (meaning we'll send you an email). Some important notifications might always come both ways to ensure you don't miss them.
Click the Save Changes or Update Preferences button at the bottom of the page once you're happy with your choices.
