allow you to see exactly how your content will appear to guests before publishing. This helps tourism operators spot errors early and perfect their presentation, ensuring a fantastic first impression and a professional online presence. For example, preview a new tour package to ensure photos are correctly placed and text is easy to read.

Accessing this feature

Preview Tools are available when you are creating or updating content. The Preview button or icon is usually located near the top or bottom of the editing area, close to buttons like Save Draft or Publish. Look for an eye icon πŸ‘€, or text that says View Draft or See How It Looks.

How to use it

  1. Log into your Tourism Accelerator account.

  2. Go to the specific area where you're creating or editing content. For example, if you're adding a new 'Whale Watching Tour', go to Tours > Add New Tour (or Edit an existing one).

  3. Type your descriptions, upload photos, set prices, and add all the necessary details.

  4. Click Save Draft regularly while you're working.

  5. Look around the editing screen for the Preview option.

  6. Click the Preview button. A new tab or window will open in your internet browser, showing your content exactly as it will appear to your guests once it's live.

  7. Review your content carefully:

  • Read through your text: Are there any typos? Does it flow well? Is it clear and inviting?

  • Check your images: Are they displaying correctly? Are they the right size? Do they look crisp and professional?

  • Verify links: If you've added any links, click on them in the preview to make sure they go to the right place.

  • Examine the layout: Does the overall page look good? Is it easy to navigate? Is anything cut off or awkwardly placed?

  1. If you find something you want to change, go back to your original editing tab in your browser.

  2. Make any changes you need – correct a typo, swap an image, adjust some formatting.

  3. Remember to click Save Draft again after making your changes.

  4. Click the Preview button again. The preview tab will refresh (or you might need to close the old one and open a new one), showing you your updated version.

  5. Repeat steps 7-11 until you are happy with how everything looks.

  6. When you're happy that everything is perfect, go back to your editing screen and click the Publish button.

Tips

  • Check if your headings, bold text, italics, and bullet points are all showing up correctly and making your content easy to read.

  • Ensure your photos and videos are positioned correctly, are the correct size, and load properly.

  • Click on any hyperlinks (e.g., 'Book Now' buttons, links to other pages, social media links) to confirm they take visitors to the correct destination.

  • Get a feel for the entire look and flow of your content. Does it look clean, professional, and inviting?
