Step-by-Step Guide

Now that you've navigated to the Altitude Score page, let's walk through what you'll see and how to understand it.

  1. See Your Overall Score: The first thing you'll notice is a prominent number or gauge showing your overall Altitude Score. This is your main indicator, usually presented as a score out of 100 (or similar). It gives you an instant idea of your overall performance. A higher score means you're flying high!

  2. Understand the Score Breakdown: Just below your overall score, you'll see a breakdown of the different categories that contribute to your Altitude Score. We don't just give you a single number; we show you what makes it up! These categories might include things like:

    • Online Visibility: How easily customers can find you on search engines and review sites.

    • Customer Engagement: How well you're interacting with your audience and managing reviews.

    • Booking Performance: How effectively your booking channels are converting interest into actual bookings.

    • Website Health: How well your own website is performing.

    • Marketing Reach: The effectiveness of your promotional activities.
For each category, you'll see an individual score or indicator. This is super helpful because it tells you exactly which areas are strong and which might need a little extra love.

  3. Check Your Trends: We know it's not just about today's score, but also how you're progressing! You might also see a small graph or a 'previous score' indicator. This helps you track your progress over time, so you can see if your efforts are making a positive difference. It’s really encouraging to see your score steadily climbing!

  4. Click for More Details (if available): Sometimes, if you click on a specific category, you might find even more detailed insights or suggestions. Feel free to explore! We want to give you as much helpful information as possible.

There's no need to click a 'Save' button here – you're simply viewing your insights! It's all there for you to review and understand.

What You Can Do

Your Altitude Score isn't just a number to look at; it's a powerful tool to help you grow your business! Here's what you can do with it:

  • Quickly Gauge Performance: Get an instant understanding of your business's overall health and visibility.

  • Identify Strengths: See which areas of your operation are performing really well and celebrate those wins!

  • Spot Areas for Improvement: Pinpoint specific categories where your score is lower, showing you exactly where to focus your attention for the biggest impact.

  • Track Progress Over Time: Monitor how your score changes as you implement new strategies and make improvements. It's fantastic to see your hard work pay off!

  • Guide Your Strategy: Use the insights to make informed decisions about where to invest your time, money, and effort to boost your business.

Tips to Get the Most Out of This

To truly make your Altitude Score work wonders for your tourism business, here are a few friendly tips:

  • Check Regularly: Make it a habit to check your Altitude Score at least once a month. This helps you stay on top of your performance and catch any changes early.

  • Don't Just Look at the Overall Score: While the main number is great, dive into the category breakdowns! That's where the really actionable insights are. A lower score in "Online Visibility," for example, tells you exactly what to focus on.

  • Understand What Drives Each Category: Take a moment to think about what contributes to each score. For "Customer Engagement," it might be responding to reviews quickly, or encouraging more reviews. For "Booking Performance," it could be optimising your booking process.

  • Set Small Goals: If you see an area that needs improvement, don't feel overwhelmed. Pick one or two small, achievable goals based on your score. For instance, "This month, I'll aim to respond to all customer reviews within 24 hours to boost my 'Customer Engagement' score."

  • Connect it to Your Actions: Every time you make an update to your website, launch a new social media campaign, or adjust your pricing, think about how it might impact your Altitude Score. This helps you learn what works best for your business.

  • Celebrate Your Successes! When you see your score go up, take a moment to acknowledge your hard work. It means your efforts are paying off, and that's something to be proud of!
