allows you to store and organise your business documents, photos, and resources in one central location. This helps tourism operators keep marketing materials, booking forms, and staff documents easily accessible, improving efficiency and organisation.

Accessing this feature

Go to Files.

How to use it

Now that you're in, let's explore what you can do. It's intuitive, and we'll go through the most common actions together. Here's what you'll typically see: a list of your existing files and folders, along with some buttons to help you manage them.

Uploading Your Files

This is how you bring files from your computer into your Tourism Accelerator account.

  1. Look for a button labelled Upload File.

  2. Click on it.

  3. A window will pop up, asking you to choose a file from your computer, similar to attaching a document to an email.

  4. Browse through your computer's folders to find the file(s) you want to upload.

  5. Select the file(s) and click Open or Upload in that window.

  6. You'll see a progress bar, and once it's complete, your file will appear in your file manager list.

Creating New Folders for Organisation

Folders are essential for keeping things neat. Think of them as physical folders in a filing cabinet, but digital!

  1. Find the button that says New Folder or Create Folder and click it.

  2. A small box will appear, asking you for a folder name.

  3. Type in a clear, descriptive name for your new folder (e.g., "Marketing Photos 2024," "Booking Forms," "Staff Docs").

  4. Click Create or Save.

  5. Your new folder will appear in the list. You can then click on it to go inside and upload files directly into it.

Viewing and Downloading Files

Sometimes you need to quickly see what a file is, or grab a copy for your own computer.

To view a file:

  1. Simply click on the name of the file in the list.

  2. Depending on the file type (like an image or PDF), it might open right there in your browser for a quick look.

To download a file:

  1. You'll usually see an icon next to the file name that looks like a downward arrow, or there might be a "Download" option when you click on the file's name.

  2. Click this, and the file will be saved to your computer's "Downloads" folder (or wherever you've set your browser to save files).

Renaming, Moving, and Deleting Files

Life happens, and sometimes you need to tidy up or make changes.

Renaming:

  1. Find the file you want to rename.

  2. Often, if you click on the file name or a small three-dot menu next to it, you'll see an option like Rename.

  3. Click it, type in the new name, and click Save.

Moving:

  1. If you want to move a file into a different folder (to keep things organised!), select the file (you might need to tick a checkbox next to it).

  2. Then look for a Move button or option. This will usually let you pick which folder you want to move it to.

  3. Select your destination folder and confirm.

Deleting:

  1. To remove an old or unnecessary file, select it (again, often by ticking a checkbox).

  2. Then, click the Delete button.

  3. The system will usually ask you to confirm – just to make sure you really mean it!

Don't worry if you accidentally delete something important; our support team is always here to help recover it if possible.
