The Booking Management System centralises guest reservations, streamlining your operations. This feature helps tourism operators save time by automating booking requests and providing a clear dashboard, allowing you to focus on delivering exceptional experiences. For example, you can easily send confirmations and updates to guests, ensuring they feel valued and informed.
Accessing this feature
You can always access your Booking Management area directly by visiting this link: 👉 https://launchpad.tourismaccelerator.com.au/bookings
Alternatively, once you're logged into your Tourism Accelerator Launchpad:
Look for the main menu on the left-hand side of your screen.
Click on Bookings.
You'll then be taken straight to your Booking Management dashboard, where all your current and past bookings are waiting for you!
How to use it
Here’s how you can manage your bookings:
View Your Bookings Dashboard: When you first arrive, you'll see a list of all your bookings. You might have filters at the top to sort by 'Upcoming', 'Past', 'New', or 'Confirmed' bookings. Let's imagine you've received a new booking, and it's highlighted for you.
Open a Specific Booking: Find the booking you want to look at in the list. Click on the View Details button (or click on the booking entry itself). You'll then be taken to a dedicated page for that booking, showing all the important information: guest name, contact details, booking dates, number of guests, chosen experience, and any special requests.
Review the Details: Take a moment to check everything over. Is the date correct? Do you have enough capacity? Are there any notes from the guest?
Confirm the Booking (if needed): If the booking is new and pending, you'll likely see a button like Confirm Booking. Clicking this will send an automated confirmation to your guest, letting them know their booking is secured.
Make an Update or Edit: Sometimes, guests might call you to change a detail, or you might need to add an internal note. On the booking details page, look for an Edit Booking button. Clicking this will open a form where you can adjust things like:
The booking date or time
The number of guests
Add a private note for your team (e.g., "Guest requested a vegetarian meal")
Update payment status (e.g., "Paid in full")
Let's say a guest called to add one more person. Adjust the "Number of Guests" field.
Save Your Changes: After making any adjustments, it’s important to click the Save Changes button at the bottom of the page. The system will then update the booking, and if the change affects the guest (like a date change), you might have the option to notify them automatically.
Communicate with Your Guest: You might also see an option to Send Message directly from the booking. This is a great way to follow up personally or answer any questions your guest might have.
With the Booking Management feature, you're empowered to handle almost anything related to your bookings. Here's a quick rundown of what you can do:
View all your bookings: See a comprehensive list of all past, present, and future bookings.
Filter and search: Quickly find specific bookings by guest name, date, or status.
Accept new bookings: Confirm incoming bookings with a click.
Edit booking details: Update dates, times, guest numbers, and other specifics if plans change.
Add internal notes: Keep track of special requests or important information for your team.
Manage payment status: Mark bookings as paid, partially paid, or outstanding.
Communicate with guests: Send messages and updates directly from the booking system.
