allows you to send emails from your business's website address, enhancing professionalism and brand recognition. For example, booking confirmations sent from [email protected] build trust with guests and reduce the likelihood of emails landing in spam folders. This ensures consistent branding and improves communication effectiveness.

How to use it
Adding Your Domain
On the Email Domains page, click Add New Domain.
Enter your domain name (e.g., youramazingtour.com.au without the www.).
Click Add Domain.
A list of DNS records (TXT or CNAME) will appear. These codes verify your domain ownership and allow sending emails on your behalf. Keep this page open.
Updating Your Domain Provider's Settings
Log in to the administrative area of your domain provider's website (e.g., GoDaddy, Crazy Domains, Namecheap).
Find the DNS settings, Domain Management, Advanced Settings, or Zone File Editor. Look for where you can add or edit DNS records.
For each code listed in Tourism Accelerator, create a new record in your domain provider's settings:
Record Type: Select the matching type (TXT or CNAME).
Host/Name/Subdomain: Copy the value from the "Host" or "Name" column in Tourism Accelerator.
Value/Target/Points To: Copy the value from the "Value" or "Target" column in Tourism Accelerator.
TTL (Time To Live): Leave it at the default or set it to 3600 seconds (1 hour).
Ensure you copy these codes exactly as they appear, character by character.
Save your changes in your domain provider's settings.
Verifying Your Domain
Return to the Tourism Accelerator tab with the Email Domains page open.
Click the Verify button next to your newly added domain.
DNS propagation can take a few minutes to up to 48 hours.
If it's not verified after a few hours, click the Verify button again.
Once verified, a "Verified" status will appear next to your domain name.
Tips
Choose a clear "From" name, like "Your Tour Name" or "Your Tour Name Bookings".
Use a consistent "From" email address for different purposes (e.g., [email protected] for general enquiries, [email protected] for reservations).
Ensure your email templates match the look and feel of your website and other marketing materials.
Monitor your email open rates and click-through rates within Tourism Accelerator.
Send test emails to yourself and trusted friends to see how they look in different inboxes.
