Getting your unique look and feel across all your customer touchpoints is super important, and we've made it simple for you to do just that. No need to be a tech wizard, I promise! We're going to walk through how you can upload your logo and set your favourite brand colours right here in your Tourism Accelerator account.
Ready to make your brand pop? Let's dive in!
What This Does
Imagine a potential customer lands on your booking page, or receives a confirmation email from you. What do you want them to see? Your business, of course! This Custom Branding feature lets you do exactly that.
In simple terms, it allows you to upload your business's logo and choose your specific brand colours. Once you've set these up, they'll automatically appear on things like your online booking pages, your customer communications (like booking confirmations and reminders), and even digital vouchers you might send out.
Why is this so helpful for your tourism business? Well, it makes everything look really professional and consistent. It builds trust with your customers because they're always seeing your brand, not just a generic template. It reinforces your identity, making your business more memorable and helping you stand out from the crowd. Think of it as putting your personal stamp on every interaction – a lovely way to make your customers feel connected to your unique experience even before they arrive!
How to Get There
Don't worry, finding the Custom Branding section is really straightforward. Let me show you how:
First, make sure you're logged into your Tourism Accelerator account.
Once you're in your main dashboard (that's your Launchpad!), look for the Settings option in the main navigation menu on the left-hand side of your screen. Go ahead and click on that.
You'll see a few options pop up under Settings. Look for Custom Branding and give that a click.
And just like that, you're on the right page! Easy peasy.
Step-by-Step Guide
Alright, now for the fun part – let's get your brand looking fabulous! We're going to upload your logo and set your colours.
Here’s what you’ll see and what to do:
Upload Your Logo:
On the Custom Branding page, you'll spot a section called "Your Business Logo".
You'll see a button that says "Upload Logo" or perhaps a box where you can drag and drop your file. Go ahead and click that button.
A window will pop up, asking you to choose a file from your computer. Navigate to where you've saved your business logo.
Top Tip: We recommend using a high-quality logo file. PNG or JPG files work really well, and it's best if your logo has a transparent background (like a PNG) if you want it to blend seamlessly. Aim for a file that isn't too large in physical dimensions (e.g., around 500px wide is usually plenty for web display) but is still clear and crisp.
Once you've selected your logo file, click "Open" or "Upload". You should see a preview of your logo appear on the page! If it doesn't look quite right, that's okay – you can always click to upload a different one.
Choose Your Primary Brand Colour:
Just below the logo section, you'll find "Primary Brand Colour". This is usually the main colour associated with your business.
You'll see a small colour box. Click on it!
A colour picker tool will appear. You can either:
Visually select your colour: Drag the circle around until you find the exact shade you're looking for.
Enter a Hex Code: If you know your exact brand colour's hex code (it's a 6-digit code starting with a #, like #FF4500), you can type it directly into the box provided. This is the most accurate way to get your precise brand colour.
As you select or type, you'll see the colour update in real-time, so you can make sure it's perfect.
Choose Your Secondary Brand Colour (Optional but Recommended!):
Next up is "Secondary Brand Colour". This is a great place to add an accent colour or a complementary shade that also features in your branding. It helps give your pages a little more visual interest!
Just like with the primary colour, click on the colour box and use the colour picker or enter your hex code.
Review and Save Your Changes:
Take a moment to look at your logo and colours. Do they look fantastic? Are they exactly what you want?
Once you're happy with everything, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click the big, friendly "Save Changes" button.
You'll get a little message confirming that your branding has been updated successfully. Hooray!
And that's it! You've officially branded your Tourism Accelerator experience. Give yourself a pat on the back!
What You Can Do
With Custom Branding, you're able to:
Display your unique business logo: Your logo will appear prominently on your booking pages and customer communications, ensuring your brand is always front and centre.
Set your primary brand colour: This main colour will be used for important elements like buttons, headings, and accents on your booking pages and in emails, creating a cohesive look.
Choose a secondary accent colour: This complementary colour can add depth and visual appeal to your branded elements.
Ensure brand consistency: Your chosen branding will automatically apply across all customer-facing elements generated by Tourism Accelerator, from booking forms to confirmation emails.
Tips to Get the Most Out of This
To really make your custom branding shine and work hard for your tourism business, here are a few friendly tips:
Quality Matters: Always use a high-resolution version of your logo. A blurry or pixelated logo can look unprofessional. If you only have a low-res version, it might be worth reaching out to your graphic designer for a better one!
Be Consistent: Make sure the logo and colours you upload here match the branding you use everywhere else – on your website, social media, brochures, and even your physical premises. Consistency helps build a strong, recognisable brand.
Less is Often More with Colours: While it's tempting to use many colours, sticking to 2-3 main brand colours generally looks more professional and is easier for your customers to remember. Your primary and secondary colours here are a great start!
Consider Your Audience: Think about who your customers are and what kind of experience you offer. Do your colours reflect the adventurous, relaxing, luxurious, or family-friendly vibe of your business?
Test it Out: After you've saved your changes, take a moment to view your live booking page or send yourself a test booking confirmation. This way, you can see exactly how your new branding looks to your customers and make any little tweaks if needed.
