Publishing articles allows you to share stories, news, and special offers about your tourism business. This helps attract more visitors by showcasing unique experiences and providing valuable information, such as local insights and travel tips. By publishing articles, you can boost your online presence and build trust with potential guests.
Accessing this feature
To access your articles:
Go to Articles.
You will see a list of all the articles you have been working on, whether they are still in draft, scheduled, or already published.
How to use it
Publishing Your Article
From the list of articles, locate the article you want to publish. You might see it listed as 'Draft' or 'Scheduled'.
Click on the title of the article or the Edit button next to it. This will open up the article's editing screen.
Take a moment to give your article one last read-through. Check for any typos, make sure all your favourite photos are there, and that all the links work. It's always a good idea to double-check before it goes live!
On the article editing screen, you will see an option to control the article's status. You might see a dropdown menu labelled Status where you can select 'Published'. Or, you might see a prominent Publish button.
If you want to publish it straight away, choose 'Published' or click the Publish button. If you have previously scheduled it, you might need to confirm the scheduled time, or click a button that says Publish Now.
The system might ask you to confirm that you want to publish the article. Click Yes, Publish or Confirm to finalise it.
Your article is now live and accessible to the public! You might even see a link appear that says View Live Article β go on, click it and admire your hard work!

Now that you know how to publish, here are a few tips to make your articles effective:
Keep It Fresh: Aim to publish new content regularly. Whether it's weekly, fortnightly, or monthly, consistent updates keep your audience engaged and give search engines more to find.
Tell a Story: People love stories! Instead of listing facts, weave a narrative around your experiences. What's the history of your location? What's a funny anecdote from a recent tour?
Use Photos & Videos: High-quality images and short videos make your articles much more engaging and shareable. Show off those stunning views and happy guests!
Share on Social Media: Once your article is published, do not keep it a secret! Share the link on your Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, or any other platforms your audience uses.
Think Like Your Guest: What questions do your potential visitors ask? What problems are they trying to solve? Write articles that answer those questions or provide helpful solutions. For example, "5 Must-Do Activities in [Your Region]" or "The Best Time of Year to Visit [Your Business]".
Include a Call to Action: At the end of your article, guide your readers on what to do next. Do you want them to book a tour, visit your booking page, or sign up for your newsletter? Make it clear and easy for them.
Review and Update Old Articles: Your work does not stop once an article is published! Periodically revisit older articles. Are they still accurate? Could they be updated with new information or better photos? This keeps your content relevant.
