The Strategy Action Items feature breaks down your business strategy into manageable tasks. This helps you create a clear, actionable to-do list for you and your team, ensuring everyone understands their responsibilities and can track progress towards strategic goals, such as launching a new tour package by a specific date.

How to use it
Choose Your Strategy
When you first arrive, you'll see a list of all the strategies you've created. Click on the name of the strategy you want to work on. This opens your strategy document.
Identify and Add an Action Item
As you read through your strategy, you'll spot areas where a specific task needs to happen. Look for a little + Add Action Item button or link that appears next to paragraphs or sections of your strategy. When you find something that needs doing, click that + Add Action Item button.
Fill in the Action Item Details
A small form will pop up. This is where you give your action item all its important details.
Action Description: This is the most important part! What exactly needs to be done? Be clear and specific. Example: "Research three local tour operators for potential partnership opportunities for the new summer package."
Assigned To: Who is responsible for making this happen? You can choose yourself or another team member from the dropdown list. Example: "Sarah (Marketing Manager)"
Due Date: When should this action item be completed? Click on the calendar icon to pick a date. Having a deadline helps keep things on track!
Priority: How important is this task compared to others? You can select 'High', 'Medium', or 'Low'. This helps you focus your efforts.
Status: What's the current state of this action item? When you first create it, it will usually be 'To Do'. Later, you can change it to 'In Progress' or 'Completed'.
Save and Track
Once you've filled in all the details, click the Save Action Item button at the bottom of the form. Your new action item will now appear in a list, clearly linked to the specific part of your strategy it came from. You can always revisit this page, click on an action item, and update its status or make any necessary changes.

Tips
We want you to love using this feature and see results for your tourism business. Here are a few tips to help you get the most out of your Strategy Action Items Guide:
Break it Down: When you're creating action items, think small! Instead of "Launch new website," try "Research website design agencies," then "Gather content for 'About Us' page," and so on. Smaller tasks are less intimidating and easier to tick off.
Assign Clearly: Always make sure there's one person clearly responsible for each action item. Too many cooks spoil the broth, and too many assignees can lead to confusion.
Review Regularly: Make checking your action items a regular habit. Maybe a quick five-minute check-in every Monday morning? This keeps everything fresh in your mind and ensures nothing slips through the cracks.
Connect to Your Goals: Always keep in mind how each little action item contributes to your bigger strategic goals. This connection helps maintain motivation and focus.
Don't Be Afraid to Adjust: Life in tourism can be unpredictable! If a due date needs to shift or a task needs to be re-prioritised, that's perfectly fine. Just jump in and update it in the guide β it's designed to be flexible.
Celebrate Every Win: Every completed action item is a step forward! Acknowledge and celebrate these small victories, as they build momentum and keep you and your team encouraged.
