The main page displays a general overview, potentially a list of popular or recently updated ships.

If you have a specific ship in mind, look for the Search bar. Type in the ship's name, its operator, or a keyword like "cruise" or "ferry", and press Enter or click the search icon. The database will filter the results.
Filter Your View (Optional)
You might see options to filter the list by 'Ship Type' (e.g., Cruise, Cargo, Passenger), 'Operator', 'Size', or 'Frequent Ports'. These filters help narrow your search.

Tips
Match Your Experience to the Passenger: Once you've identified a ship that regularly visits your region, research its details. Is it a luxury cruise? Then craft a premium, high-end experience. Is it known for adventure travellers? Design something thrilling! Understanding the ship helps you understand its passengers, allowing you to create targeted and appealing offerings.
Collaborate with Local Businesses: See a ship that brings in thousands of visitors? Reach out to other local tourism operators, restaurants, or transport providers to discuss creating collaborative experiences.
Forecast Demand: Get a clearer picture of potential visitor numbers in your region, helping you prepare for busy periods or identify quieter times where new strategies might be needed.
Identify Opportunities: Discover new markets or identify specific types of travellers that might be arriving on certain vessels.
Customise Your Offerings: Knowing a large family-friendly cruise ship is due to dock allows you to tailor special family tours or activities, making your business more appealing.
Understand Your Landscape: Gain valuable insights into the broader tourism landscape, seeing how ship movements might influence local visitor numbers and economic activity.
Discover New Ships and Operators: Broaden your understanding of the different vessels operating in your area or in regions you're targeting. You might even find new operators you weren't aware of!
Research Ship Specifications: Get detailed information on ship capacity, type, and facilities. This helps you understand the kind of passenger experience being offered and how it might align with your own services.
Identify Ship-Specific Opportunities: Learn which ships are known for carrying particular demographics (e.g., families, seniors, luxury travellers) and tailor your marketing or experience development accordingly.
Understand Port Activity: See which ships frequent certain ports. This is invaluable for tour operators who offer shore excursions or businesses located near major docking areas.
Monitor Industry Trends: Keep an eye on new ships entering service or changes in routes, helping you stay ahead of the curve in the dynamic tourism industry.
Plan Resource Allocation: If you know a massive cruise ship is arriving, you can pre-emptively organise more staff, transport, or stock for your business.
