How to use it
Deals List Overview
The page displays a list or columns representing stages in your sales process (e.g., New Enquiry, Qualified, Proposal Sent, Booked, Lost).
Each card or row represents a potential booking (Deal).
Key information such as customer name, booking value, and current stage are displayed.
Understanding Deal Stages
The stages help you visualise where each potential booking is in its journey. For example:
New Enquiry: Someone has enquired.
Qualified: They are a good fit for your offering.
Proposal Sent: A quote or itinerary has been sent.
Booked (or Won): The booking is confirmed.
Lost: Marking a deal as 'Lost' keeps your pipeline organised.
Viewing Deal Details
To view more details, click the Deal Card or Row.
A detailed view opens, displaying notes, contact details, and interests.
Options to Edit Deal, Add Notes, or Change Stage may also be available.
Filtering and Searching
Use the Filter or Search Bar (usually at the top) to find specific deals.
Filter by deal stage, value, or assigned team member to narrow your view.
Sorting Deals
The Sort By option arranges deals by criteria like newest enquiries, value, or expected close date.
Tips
Regularly Check: Check the deals pipeline daily to stay informed about potential bookings.
Keep Information Current: Accurate information in each deal card improves the overall view. Add notes after calls or emails.
Mark Deals as 'Lost': Marking deals as 'Lost' keeps the pipeline focused on active opportunities and helps identify reasons for lost deals.
Use for Forecasting: Review deals in the 'Proposal Sent' or 'Qualified' stages to plan staffing and resources.
View Stages as Steps: Each stage represents progress towards a booking. Stagnant deals may require reassessment.
Customise View: Customise pipeline stages to match your sales process for a more intuitive experience.
