provides a clear overview of earnings from bookings made through Tourism Accelerator. This feature allows tourism operators to easily monitor pending and paid commissions, simplifying financial planning and accounting.
Accessing this feature
To access commission tracking:
Log into your Tourism Accelerator.
Look for the main navigation menu, usually on the left-hand side of your screen.
Go to the section related to your finances.
Click on Commissions.
You can also access it directly by going to: https://launchpad.tourismaccelerator.com.au/commissions (once you're logged in).
How to use it
Log into your Tourism Accelerator and enter your login details.
From your dashboard, click on Commissions in the left-hand menu.
Explore your commission overview. You'll see a table or list showing all your commissions. Each row represents an individual commission earned from a booking. You'll see details like:
The booking ID
The guest's name
The date of the booking
The total booking value
The commission amount you earned
The current status (e.g., 'Pending', 'Paid', 'Cancelled')
Use the filters to narrow down your view:
Date Range: Select a custom date range.
Status: Filter by 'Paid' to see what's already in your bank, or 'Pending' to see what's on its way.
Booking ID/Guest Name: Enter the booking ID or the guest's name to find it quickly.
Click the dropdown menus and make your selections, then click Apply Filters to update the view.
To get a closer look at any specific commission, click on the row in the table. A pop-up or new page will appear, showing you more information, such as:
The full booking details
The exact payout date or estimated payout date
Any notes related to that specific commission
Look for an Export button to download your commission data into a spreadsheet (like a CSV file).
With commission tracking, you can:
Get a complete summary of all the commissions you've earned, making it easy to see your total income over any period.
Filter and sort your commissions to quickly find specific bookings, review monthly earnings, or check the status of particular payouts.
Dive into the details of each commission, including the associated booking information, guest details, and how the commission was calculated.
Export your data into a spreadsheet format, which is perfect for integrating with your accounting software or keeping organised records for your business.
Monitor the payment status of each commission, so you always know what funds are pending and when you can expect them to arrive in your account.
Easily reconcile your bank statements with your expected commission payouts, ensuring everything matches up perfectly.
Tips
Check your commissions at least once a week or monthly to stay on top of your earnings and quickly spot anything that might look unusual.
When your payouts arrive, use commission tracking to cross-reference them with your bank statements to ensure that every dollar is accounted for and helps maintain accurate records.
At the end of the month, quarter, or financial year, export your commission data to provide information to your bookkeeper or accountant, saving you time and stress.
Pay attention to the 'status' and 'payout date' for pending commissions to get a clear idea of when to expect funds, helping you manage your cash flow effectively.
Ask questions if you ever see a commission status that you don't understand, or if a payment seems delayed.
