The Insider Product Discovery area provides a curated list of tools, services, and resources. It allows tourism operators to easily discover offerings, understand their benefits, and make informed decisions to enhance their business, such as streamlining operations or boosting marketing efforts.

Accessing this feature

Go to the main navigation menu.

How to use it

Arriving at the Products Page

Once you click on "Products," you'll land on a page that showcases a variety of different offerings. You'll likely see a collection of cards or tiles, each representing a unique product or service. Each card gives you a snapshot of what it's all about.

Browsing and Filtering

Explore Categories: You might see options to filter products by category, such as "Marketing Tools," "Operational Support," "Training & Development," or "Sustainability Initiatives." Clicking on these will help you narrow down your search to areas most relevant to your current needs.

Use the Search Bar: If you have something specific in mind, like "online booking" or "social media strategy," type it into the search bar, and the products that match will be displayed.

Diving into Product Details

When you see a product that catches your eye, click on its card or title. This will take you to a dedicated page with all the details. Here's what you can expect to find:

  1. A Description: An explanation of what the product is.

  2. How it Helps Your Business: An outline of the benefits and how this product can solve a problem, save you time, or help you grow.

  3. Who it's For: Information on whether products are tailored for specific types of tourism businesses or at different stages of growth.

  4. What's Included: A list of what you'll receive if it's a service or a resource pack.

  5. Any Prerequisites: Information on whether a product might require you to have something else in place first.

Deciding on Your Next Steps

Once you've explored a product's details, you'll have a call to action:

  • Learn More or View Resource: For informational products or guides, this might take you directly to the resource itself.

  • Enquire Now or Contact Us: For services or consultancy, this button will help you get in touch with our team to discuss it further.

  • Add to Favourites: See something you like but want to come back to later? Many products will have a heart icon or Add to Favourites button. Clicking this will save it to your personalised list.

Tips

  • Explore broadly first: Sometimes the solutions you didn't even know you needed are the ones that make the biggest difference.

  • Think about your business goals: As you browse, ask yourself: "How does this product help me achieve [specific business goal]?" Whether it's attracting more visitors, improving guest experiences, or becoming more sustainable, connecting products to your goals makes your choices more impactful.

  • Read the descriptions carefully: Understand the 'why' and 'how' of each product. It's not just about what it is, but what it can do for you.

  • Use the favourites feature: Spotted a few things that look interesting but aren't quite ready to commit? Add them to your favourites! This saves you time later and creates a shortlist of possibilities.
