How to use it
Upload Your Logo
On the Branding page, locate the Logo section.
Click the Upload Logo button. This opens a window where you can select your logo file.
For the best results, use a high-resolution version of your logo. A transparent PNG file is recommended, but JPEG also works.
Note the recommended dimensions near the upload area to ensure your logo looks crisp and clear.
Once you have selected your file, a preview of your logo appears on the page.
Choose Your Primary Brand Colour
Locate the Primary Colour setting. This colour is the main, dominant colour of your brand and is used for buttons, headings, and other key accents on your portal.
Use the colour picker tool:
Click the colour swatch to open a visual picker and select your preferred shade.
Enter a Hex Code: If you know your brand's exact hex code (e.g., #RRGGBB), type it directly into the input box to ensure perfect colour matching.
Choose Your Secondary Brand Colour (Optional)
Below the primary colour, find the option for a Secondary Colour. This colour complements your primary one and can be used for subtle accents or backgrounds.
Use the colour picker or enter a Hex Code. A secondary colour adds depth and visual interest to your branding.
Add a Favicon (Optional)
In the Favicon section, click the Upload Favicon button.
Favicons are usually square and very small (e.g., 16x16 or 32x32 pixels). A simple, recognisable version of your logo or a key brand element works best here. A PNG or ICO file is ideal.
Preview Your Changes
Before saving, review the preview area on the page to see how your logo and colours look on your portal.
Tweak colours or re-upload logos until you are satisfied.
Save Your Changes
Once you are satisfied with the preview, click the Save button.
A confirmation message appears, and your custom branding is now live on your portal.
Tips
Ensure the logo and colours match your website, social media, and other marketing materials for strong brand recognition.
Always use the highest quality version of your logo. A blurry or pixelated logo detracts from your professional image.
If you have brand guidelines, use the exact colour hex codes to ensure perfect colour matching.
When choosing colours, consider readability. Ensure any text overlaid on your chosen colours is easy to read. Accessibility is important.
A clean, uncluttered look often communicates professionalism more effectively.
After saving your changes, open your portal in a new browser window or on a different device to see how it looks to your audience.
Experiment with different colour combinations or logo placements until you find what feels right for your brand.
