connects your Tourism Accelerator account to the Australian Tourism Data Warehouse (ATDW), automatically sharing your business information with a wider audience. This saves you time by updating your ATDW listing directly from Tourism Accelerator, ensuring consistent and up-to-date information across all platforms.
Accessing this feature
First, log in to your Tourism Accelerator account. You can always go directly to our Launchpad at: https://launchpad.tourismaccelerator.com.au/
Once you're in, look for the main navigation menu on the left-hand side of your screen. Click on Settings . Then, from the dropdown menu that appears, select Integrations . On the Integrations page, you'll see a list of available connections. Look for the ATDW Sync option. Click on ATDW Sync , and you'll be taken to the page where you can set everything up.
How to use it
Start the Connection: On the ATDW Sync page, you'll see a button that says something like Connect to ATDW or Set Up ATDW Sync. Go ahead and click that button! This tells our system you're ready to link up.
Enter Your ATDW ID: Here's what you'll see next: A field asking for your ATDW Product ID. If you already have a listing on ATDW, you'll have a unique Product ID. You can usually find this by logging into your ATDW account or by looking at the URL of your existing ATDW listing (it's often a number at the end of the URL). Carefully enter your ATDW Product ID into the field.
No ATDW Product ID yet? That's okay! If you don't have an ATDW listing, our system will guide you on how to create one first. You'll need to register directly with ATDW (atdw-online.com.au) to get your ID.
Review Your Listing Information: Once you've entered your ATDW ID, our system will pull up your existing Tourism Accelerator listing information. You'll see a summary of the details we're ready to send to ATDW, such as your business name, description, address, contact details, and images. This is a great moment to quickly double-check that everything looks correct and complete. If something is missing or needs updating, you can always go back to your main listing in Tourism Accelerator to make those changes before completing the sync.
Map Your Categories (if applicable): Sometimes, categories used in Tourism Accelerator might be slightly different from those in ATDW. If this is the case, you might see a section asking you to "map" your categories. This just means you'll select the ATDW category that best matches your Tourism Accelerator category from a dropdown list. For example, if you have "Wine Tour" in Tourism Accelerator, you might select "Food & Wine Tours" in ATDW. We try to do most of this automatically, but sometimes your input helps us get it just right.
Confirm and Activate Sync: Once you're happy with everything you've reviewed, you'll see a button like Confirm Sync or Activate Sync. Click this button, and your Tourism Accelerator listing will now begin its journey to ATDW. The initial sync might take a few minutes to process, so please be patient. You'll usually receive a confirmation message once it's complete. Your ATDW Sync is now active. We'll keep an eye on your listing in Tourism Accelerator, and whenever you make an important update, we'll aim to push those changes to ATDW for you.

With ATDW Sync enabled, you unlock some really handy capabilities that save you time and expand your reach:
Automatically Update Your ATDW Listing: Any major changes you make to your core product details (like your description, contact information, pricing, or operating hours) within Tourism Accelerator can be automatically sent to your linked ATDW listing.
Keep Photos Fresh: Upload new photos to your Tourism Accelerator listing, and they can be updated on your ATDW profile too, keeping your visuals captivating.
Monitor Sync Status: On the ATDW Sync page, you'll be able to see the status of your connection and when the last successful sync occurred, so you always know things are running smoothly.
Manually Trigger a Sync: If you've made a lot of changes and want to ensure they go live on ATDW right away, you can usually click a "Sync Now" or "Update ATDW" button to manually push the latest information.
Disconnect When Needed: You have the option to easily disconnect the ATDW Sync from your Tourism Accelerator account.

Complete Your Tourism Accelerator Listing FIRST: Before you even think about syncing, make sure your listing in Tourism Accelerator is comprehensive. The more comprehensive and appealing your listing is with us, the better it will look on ATDW and all the sites that use ATDW data. Think engaging descriptions, all your contact info, and clear operating hours.
High-Quality Images are Key: Ensure you have stunning, high-resolution photos that truly showcase your experience. These will be pulled through to ATDW and make a huge difference in attracting attention.
Review Your ATDW Listing Afterwards: Once you've completed the initial sync, check your ATDW listing (by logging into your ATDW account or finding it on a site like Australia.com) and give it a good look. Does everything appear as you expect? Are there any small tweaks needed? If so, make the changes in Tourism Accelerator, then trigger another sync.
Keep Your Information Current: The magic of the sync is that it helps keep things up-to-date. Update your Tourism Accelerator listing whenever there's a change to your business, and let the sync do the rest!
