allows you to modify existing tour plans. This ensures tourism operators can quickly adapt to changing conditions, such as weather or updated attraction hours, and maintain guest satisfaction. By keeping itineraries current, you can offer personalised experiences and save time.

Accessing this feature

Go to Itineraries.

How to use it

  1. Find the Itinerary You Want to Edit

On the Itineraries page, you'll see a list of your existing itineraries. Scroll through the list to find the one you need. If you have many itineraries, use the search bar at the top to refine your search by name. You might also have options to filter by status (like "Draft" or "Published").

  1. Open the Editor

Once you've found the itinerary, click the itinerary name. Alternatively, you might see an Edit button next to the itinerary's name. Clicking either of these takes you to the itinerary editor.

  1. Make Your Changes

You can customise the itinerary in the editor.

### Adjust General Details

At the top of the editor, you'll find fields for the Itinerary Name, a general Description of the tour, and its overall Duration. Click the fields and enter the updated information. You may also be able to update the featured image or category here.

### Manage Stops and Activities

You'll see a list of the individual stops or activities within your itinerary.

  • Add a New Stop

Look for an Add Stop or Add Activity button; it is usually at the bottom of the list. Clicking this opens a form where you can add details for a new stop, like its name, location, duration, and a description.

  • Edit an Existing Stop

To change details for a specific stop, click its name or an Edit button. This opens its individual details, allowing you to update:

  • Stop Name: You may have a more descriptive name.

  • Time/Duration: Adjust the start time or duration at this location.

  • Location: Update the address or meeting point.

  • Description: Add details, highlight features, or correct information.

  • Images: Add or update photos relevant to that stop.

  • Reordering Stops

To change the tour flow, look for drag-and-drop handles (these are usually horizontal lines or a crosshairs icon). Click and drag the stop to the desired position.

  • Removing a Stop

If an activity is no longer included, click the Delete button next to the stop. A confirmation message appears before permanent removal.

  • Update Pricing and Availability

There are sections for pricing and availability. You can adjust the cost of your tour, set prices for different age groups, or update the dates and times your tour is available.

  1. Review Your Changes

Review all changes before saving. Ensure the itinerary is clear, times are correct, and information is current. Reviewing prevents issues later.

  1. Save Your Work

Click the Save button. A confirmation message appears.

Tips

  • Regularly review and update itineraries to maintain accuracy.

  • Encourage guest feedback to identify areas for improvement.

  • Use clear and descriptive language to enhance the guest experience.
