Share itineraries with clients to provide them with interactive trip plans. This feature saves tourism operators time by eliminating clunky attachments and ensures clients feel excited and well-informed about their upcoming adventure.
Accessing this feature
From your Tourism Accelerator Dashboard, look for the main menu on the left-hand side of your screen.
Click on Itineraries .
Then, select My Itineraries from the dropdown menu.
This will take you to a page where you can see all the itineraries you've created.
You can also go directly to https://launchpad.tourismaccelerator.com.au/itineraries if you're already logged in.
How to use it
Find Your Itinerary
Once you're on the 'My Itineraries' page (as we found in "Accessing this feature"), scroll through your list or use the search bar to find the specific itinerary you want to share.
Open the Itinerary
Click on the title of the itinerary you wish to share. This will open up its details page, where you can see everything you've put together.
Locate the Share Button
On the itinerary's details page, look for a prominent Share Itinerary button. It's usually located near the top right of the screen or in an actions menu. Go ahead and click it!
Choose Your Sharing Method
A small window or pop-up will appear, giving you a couple of options for sharing:
Share via Email: You'll see fields to enter your client's email address(es), a subject line, and a personal message.
Get Shareable Link: This option provides you with a unique web link that you can copy and paste anywhere β into your own email, a messaging app, or even your website.
Personalise Your Message (if sharing via Email)
If you chose to share via email, this is your chance to add a friendly, personal touch!
Type your client's Email Address into the designated field. You can usually add multiple addresses if you're sharing with a group.
The Subject Line will likely pre-fill with the itinerary's name, but you can customise it to something like "Your Amazing [Itinerary Name] Awaits!"
In the Message box, write a warm note to your client. You could say something like, "Hi [Client Name], I'm so excited to share your personalised itinerary for your upcoming adventure! Let me know what you think."
Preview Your Itinerary (Optional but Recommended!)
Before hitting send, you might see a Preview button. This is a brilliant way to see exactly what your client will experience when they open the itinerary. Give it a quick look to make sure everything is perfect.
Send or Copy
If sharing via email, click the Send Itinerary button. If getting a shareable link, click Copy Link. You'll then get a confirmation that the link has been copied to your clipboard, ready for you to paste wherever you need it.
And that's it! You've successfully shared your itinerary. Your clients will be thrilled to receive such a professional and engaging overview of their upcoming trip.
Tips
Email Directly to Clients: Send interactive itineraries straight to your clients' inboxes with your own personalised message.
Generate Shareable Web Links: Create unique links for each itinerary that you can use on your website, social media, or in any communication platform.
Customise Your Communication: Add a personal subject line and a warm message to make each shared itinerary feel special and tailored.
Preview Before Sending: Always double-check how your itinerary will look to your clients, ensuring a polished and professional presentation every time.
Keep Clients Informed: Provide clear, detailed, and visually appealing trip plans that answer many of their questions before they even ask.
Enhance Your Brand: Present your itineraries in a consistent, professional format that reinforces your tourism business's quality and attention to detail.
Personalise, Personalise, Personalise: Always add a personal message when sharing via email. A simple "Can't wait for you to experience this!" makes a huge difference and strengthens your connection with the client.
Use It for Proposals: Before a client even books, share a draft itinerary as a proposal. It's a fantastic way to showcase what you can offer and get them excited about booking with you.
Follow Up: After you've sent an itinerary, consider a quick follow-up call or email to see if they have any questions. This shows you're engaged and available to help.
Showcase Unique Experiences: If your itinerary includes a particularly special activity or hidden gem, highlight it in your accompanying message to build extra anticipation.
Gather Feedback: Encourage clients to tell you what they think of the itinerary. This feedback is gold for refining your offerings and improving future trips.
Integrate with Your Booking Process: Make sharing a natural part of your booking confirmation. Clients love having a clear plan once they've committed to a trip.
Keep it Updated: If there are any changes to the itinerary, remember to update it in Tourism Accelerator and reshare the link or resend the email. The platform ensures they always see the latest version.
