The Team Member Invitations feature allows you to invite your team to collaborate within Tourism Accelerator Launchpad. This enables team members to access relevant sections, contribute to projects, and manage content, streamlining workflows for your tourism business. For example, a marketing manager can directly access campaign tools, eliminating the need to share login details.

How to use it
Inviting a New Team Member
On the 'Team Members' page, you'll see a button that says + Invite New Member. Click that button.
A form will appear asking for details about the person you want to invite.
Email Address: This is important! Enter their correct email address, as this is where they'll receive their invitation. Double-check it to avoid any errors.
First Name: Enter their first name.
Last Name: Add their last name.
Role: This is where you decide what kind of access they'll have. You'll see a dropdown menu with options like 'Admin', 'Editor', or 'Viewer'.
Admin: This access level has full access. They can invite new members, manage settings, and do everything else. Choose this for trusted managers or business partners.
Editor: This access level can create, edit, and publish content (like articles, listings, or marketing campaigns), but they can't manage team members or change core settings. Great for marketing staff or content creators.
Viewer: This access level can see everything but can't make any changes or create new content. Perfect for consultants, interns, or anyone who needs to review information.
Once you've filled in all the details and selected their access level, click the Send Invitation button.
An email invitation will be sent to your team member. They'll need to click a link in that email to set up their account and join your team.
You'll see their invitation listed as 'Pending' until they accept.
If they don't receive the email, or if it expires, that's fine! You can easily resend the invitation from the 'Team Members' page.
Managing Team Member Access
Having your team on board opens up a world of possibilities for your tourism business! Here's a quick look at what you and your team can do with this feature:
Collaborate on Content: Your marketing team can work together on creating compelling stories, updating your listings, or planning your next big campaign.
Delegate Tasks: Assign specific access levels and empower your team to take ownership of different areas, from updating pricing to scheduling social media posts.
Maintain Security: Each team member gets their own login, so you don't have to share your personal account details. This keeps your business information safe.
Manage Access Levels: Easily adjust access levels for any team member if their responsibilities change. For example, if a Viewer takes on more duties, you can change their access level to an Editor.
Review Team Activity: Keep an eye on who is doing what, ensuring everyone is working effectively and efficiently.
Revoke Access: If a team member leaves your organisation, you can instantly remove their access, giving you complete control over your business's digital presence.
Re-send Invitations: If an invitation gets lost in the inbox or expires, you can quickly send it again without starting from scratch.
Tips
To make the most of inviting your team, here are a few tips:
Choose Access Levels Carefully: Take a moment to think about what each team member truly needs to do. Giving someone 'Editor' access when 'Viewer' would suffice is generally less secure. You can always upgrade their access level later if needed!
Communicate with Your Team: Let your team members know an invitation is coming! A quick message or chat can ensure they check their inbox (and even their spam folder!) for the email and understand what it means.
Onboard Your Team: Once they've joined, take a moment to show them around Tourism Accelerator Launchpad. Point out the areas relevant to their access level and explain how they can contribute. This helps them feel comfortable and empowered.
Regularly Review Access: It's good practise to periodically check who has access and what their access levels are. This ensures that access is always up-to-date with your current team structure.
Encourage Exploration: Tourism Accelerator Launchpad is packed with helpful tools. Encourage your team to explore the features relevant to their access levels. The more they understand, the more they can help your business shine!
Use It for Training: For new staff, having them start with a 'Viewer' access level can be a great way for them to learn the ropes and understand your business's digital presence before they start making changes.
