Stripe allows you to process online payments for your tourism business. By integrating Stripe, guests can instantly pay for bookings using credit or debit cards, and payments are automatically linked to bookings in Tourism Accelerator, streamlining your business operations.

How to use it
Connecting Your Stripe Account
Go to the Payment Gateways page in Tourism Accelerator.
Find the Stripe option and click the Connect Stripe button.
You are securely redirected to the Stripe website.
Log in to an existing Stripe account or set up a new one.
If you have a Stripe account: Enter your email and password to log in. Stripe asks for your permission to connect your account with Tourism Accelerator. Review the details and click Connect my Stripe account.
If you need to create a new Stripe account: You are prompted to start the sign-up process, which involves: Entering your email address and creating a secure password; Providing basic business details (ABN, business address, and type of business); Connecting a bank account for payouts. Stripe guides you through each step with clear instructions to verify your business and ensure security.
After logging in or creating your Stripe account and authorising the connection, Stripe redirects you back to your Tourism Accelerator account.
A confirmation message indicates that Stripe is now connected.
Back in Tourism Accelerator, on the Payment Gateways page, the Stripe option shows as "Connected," with options to manage or disconnect your Stripe account.
Test the connection (Optional but Recommended): Perform a small test booking on your site and go through the payment process. You can refund the test payment through Stripe afterwards.
With Stripe connected to your Tourism Accelerator account, you can:
Accept Credit & Debit Cards: Process payments from major credit and debit cards directly on your booking pages.
Process Refunds: Quickly process full or partial refunds through your Stripe dashboard if a guest cancels or changes their booking.
View Transaction History: Track payments and payouts in detail through your Stripe account dashboard.
Manage Payouts: See when payouts are scheduled to arrive in your bank account and review payout history.
Offer Secure Bookings: Provide guests with peace of mind knowing their payment details are handled by a secure platform.

Understand Stripe's Fees: Stripe charges a small fee per transaction. Familiarize yourself with their current rates on the Stripe website.
Keep Your Stripe Account Secure: Keep your Stripe account details private and use a strong, unique password.
Check Regularly: Check your Stripe transaction reports against your bookings in Tourism Accelerator to make sure everything matches up for your accounting.
Communicate Clearly: Make sure guests know they can pay securely online. A note on your booking page like "Secure payments powered by Stripe" builds trust.
Consider Your Refund Policy: With easy refunds, make sure your cancellation and refund policies are clear and fair for your guests.
