This helps tourism operators quickly understand market trends or competitor strategies, saving time and informing business decisions. For example, use it to summarise lengthy market research reports and identify emerging travel trends.

How to use it

Uploading a Document

  1. Once you access the AI Strategy Document Parser, you see a section with an Upload Document button.

  2. Click the Upload Document button. A window appears, allowing you to browse your computer.

  3. Select your file and click Open. We support common document types like PDF, Word documents (.docx), and plain text files (.txt).

  4. You see your document name appear.

Providing Specific Instructions (Optional)

  1. Below the upload area, you see a text box labelled "What insights are you looking for?". This allows you to guide the AI. For example, you could type:

  • "Summarise key market trends for adventure tourism in Queensland."

  • "Identify potential competitive threats from new operators in the ecotourism sector."

  • "Extract all dates and deadlines related to government grants mentioned in this report."

  • "Provide a SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) from this business plan."

  1. If left blank, the AI provides a general summary.

Analysing the Document

  1. Once your document is uploaded and you’ve added any specific instructions, click the Analyse Document button.

  2. The AI analyses the document. This may take a few minutes, depending on the size and complexity of your document.

  3. Once complete, the parsed information is displayed on screen. This could be a summary, bullet points of key findings, or answers to your specific questions.

Saving or Exporting Results

  1. You find options to Download Summary (usually as a PDF or text file) or Copy to Clipboard if you want to paste the insights directly into another document or email.

Tips

  • Use clear and well-organised documents. Use well-structured PDFs or Word documents with clear headings.

  • Enter specific questions in the 'What insights are you looking for?' box. Specific questions yield more tailored results.

  • Review the AI's output to ensure accuracy. It assists your judgment, but does not replace it. Use the insights as a starting point for further analysis.

  • Consider various document types. Upload meeting notes, brainstorming sessions, or competitor brochures to uncover insights.

  • For very long documents, break them into smaller sections for more precise results.
