automatically synchronises your business details with the Australian Tourism Data Warehouse (ATDW). This ensures your information, including photos, descriptions, and contact details, is consistently updated across various tourism websites, saving you time and expanding your reach to potential guests.

How to use it
Start the Connection
Once you're on the ATDW Integration page (from the steps above), you'll see a button that says Connect to ATDW. Click that to begin.
Authorise Your Account
For us to securely share your information with ATDW, you'll need to grant access. Clicking Connect to ATDW will take you to the official ATDW website.
You'll be asked to log in to your existing ATDW account (the one you use to manage your ATDW listings). If you don't have an ATDW account yet, ATDW will guide you through creating one. Just follow their instructions.
Once logged in, ATDW will ask you to authorise Tourism Accelerator to access your listings. Please read through the permissions carefully and then click to Approve or Allow the connection. This is an essential step to ensure your data transfer is seamless between our platforms.
Return to Tourism Accelerator
After successfully authorising, you'll be automatically redirected back to your Tourism Accelerator account. You should see a confirmation message that your ATDW account is now connected!
Map Your Products and Experiences
Now, we need to tell the system which of your products or experiences in Tourism Accelerator match your ATDW listings.
On the ATDW Integration page, you'll see a list of your products and experiences from Tourism Accelerator. Next to each one, there will be a field where you can enter your existing ATDW Listing ID. This is a unique number that identifies each of your listings on ATDW.
Not sure where to find your ATDW Listing ID? You can find it by logging into your ATDW account and navigating to your listing; the ID is displayed near the top of the page.
Carefully enter the correct ATDW Listing ID for each of your Tourism Accelerator products. This ensures the right information gets updated in the right place.
Configure Your Synchronise Settings
This is where you decide what information gets shared and how often. You'll see options to choose which types of information you'd like to synchronise (e.g., product descriptions, contact details, pricing, stunning photos, opening hours). We recommend synchronising as much as possible to keep everything consistent!
You can also choose how often you'd like us to automatically check for updates and synchronise your information β daily, weekly, or perhaps you prefer to trigger a synchronise manually. For most businesses, a daily or weekly synchronise is a fantastic set-and-forget option.
Initiate Your First Synchronise
Once you've mapped your listings and chosen your synchronise settings, look for the Sync Now button. Click this to start the initial data transfer. This might take a few moments, so please be patient.
Review and Verify
After the synchronise is complete, we highly recommend logging into your ATDW account (atdw.com.au). Navigate to your listings and check that all the information, especially your photos and descriptions, looks exactly how you want it to. This is a great habit to get into after any major update.
With your ATDW integration set up, you unlock some helpful capabilities:
Automatic Updates: Eliminate manual updates across multiple platforms. Your changes in Tourism Accelerator automatically flow to your ATDW listings.
Centralised Management: Manage all your product and experience details from one easy-to-use platform β Tourism Accelerator.
Wider Reach: Maintain consistent and current business details across state, regional, and national tourism websites.
View Synchronise Status: Easily check when your last synchronise occurred and if there were any issues, within Tourism Accelerator.
Trigger Manual Synchronises: Require an immediate update? You can manually trigger a synchronise anytime you like.
Disconnect Anytime: If for any reason you need to, you can easily disconnect your ATDW integration from your settings.
Tips
To make sure your ATDW Integration functions optimally and delivers the best outcomes, here are a few tips:
Keep Tourism Accelerator Up-to-Date: The golden rule! Since Tourism Accelerator is now your 'source of truth', always make sure your product descriptions, pricing, opening hours, and contact details are accurate.
High-quality visuals: Photos and videos are essential for tourism. Use high-resolution images in Tourism Accelerator to ensure they display well.
Understand ATDW Guidelines: ATDW has specific content guidelines for listings (e.g., character limits, photo requirements). Understanding these guidelines helps you create content in Tourism Accelerator that displays correctly on ATDW. You can usually find these on the ATDW website.
