How to use it
Generating a New API Key
On the API Access page, click Generate New Key or Create API Token.
A pop-up window will appear, prompting you to name the new API key. This helps you remember what the key is for. For example, name it "Website Data Sync" if you're connecting your website.
Type in a clear, descriptive name and then click Generate.
A unique string of letters and numbers will appear on your screen. This is your API key.
You'll see an option to Copy to Clipboard next to the key. Click this button immediately! Then, paste this key into the other system you want to connect, or into a secure document for safe keeping. The key will only be shown to you once.
Click Done or Close to finish the process. Your new key will now appear in your list of active API keys, showing its name and when it was created.

With your new Read-Only API key, you can:
Keep Your Website Updated: Automatically display real-time tour availability, pricing, or even guest reviews from Tourism Accelerator on your website.
Power Your Reporting: Connect your business intelligence or reporting tools to pull in your sales figures, booking trends, and guest demographics from Tourism Accelerator.
Enhance Your Guest Relationships: Integrate with your Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to automatically update guest profiles with their booking history and preferences.
Custom Dashboards: Use the API to feed data into custom dashboards.
Automate Marketing Segments: Pull guest booking data to create targeted marketing lists in your email marketing platform.
Sync Inventory: If you have products or services that need to reflect availability from Tourism Accelerator in another system, the API can keep that information aligned.
All of these actions read data from Tourism Accelerator. Your other systems won't be able to make changes back in our platform, ensuring your core data remains secure and accurate.

Start Small and Simple: Pick one system or one specific piece of data you want to automate first.
Consider a Developer: If you're not comfortable with technical setups, work with a web developer or IT professional to help set up API integrations. They can help you configure the API key in your other systems and make sure everything is working.
Keep Your API Keys Secret: Your API key is powerful. Never embed it directly.
