The public profile preview allows you to see your business profile as potential guests see it. This ensures your tours, accommodations, or experiences are presented accurately and attractively, helping you to identify any necessary adjustments before customers view it. For example, you can verify contact information and assess the quality of your photos.

Accessing this feature

Go to My Business

How to use it

  1. Log in to your Tourism Accelerator Launchpad.

  2. Select My Business in the main menu.

  3. Select Public Profile (or Business Details). This page is where you manage customer-facing information.

  4. Review the page and find the Preview Public Profile or View Live Profile button. It is clearly visible.

  5. Select the Preview Public Profile button. This opens a new browser tab displaying your public profile as potential guests see it.

  6. Review your business name, descriptions, contact information, photos, and other details. Is it visually appealing? Is the information correct? Does it accurately reflect your business?

  7. If you need to make an adjustment, close the preview tab and make changes on the original tab. Select Save, then preview again to see the updates.

Tips

  • Regularly review your profile, especially after updating offerings, photos, or contact details.

  • Seek feedback by asking someone to review your profile.

  • Customer Perspective: When previewing, consider the profile as a new customer. What information would you seek? What would encourage a booking? This helps identify areas for improvement.

  • Showcase Your Story: Your public profile is an opportunity to showcase your business's unique story. Does your description convey your passion, offerings, and unique selling points?

  • Highlight Benefits: Instead of stating features, highlight benefits, such as "rest easy in our plush, comfortable beds after a day of adventure" instead of "we have comfortable beds".

  • Check your preview on different devices to ensure responsiveness.

  • Update Photos: Current, high-quality photos are essential. Update photos to reflect recent renovations, new tours, or new moments.
