Accessing this feature

Go to Experiences. Then, click on the experience name or the Edit button.

How to use it

Choosing Your Pricing Type

  1. Decide how you want to charge your guests. Options include:

  • Per Person: Each person pays a set amount (e.g., $100 per adult).

  • Per Group/Booking: One price covers the entire group (e.g., $500 for a private tour for up to 4 people).

  • Per Item/Unit: Useful for equipment hire (e.g., $50 per kayak hire).

  1. Select the option that best suits your experience.

Setting Your Base Price

  1. Enter your standard, starting price.

  • If you chose "Per Person", enter the cost for each category (Adult, Child, Senior, etc.).

  • If you chose "Per Group/Booking", enter the total price for the group. Set "Minimum Participants" and "Maximum Participants", if available.

  • If you chose "Per Item/Unit", enter the base price for one unit.

Adding Price Variations (If Applicable)

  1. Add participant types (e.g., Child (under 12), Student (with ID)).

  • Look for an Add Participant Type button.

  • Click it, name the new type, and enter its price.

  1. Set seasonal or date-specific pricing.

  • Look for a section like "Seasonal Pricing" or "Date Overrides".

  • Click Add New Season or Add Date Range.

  • Select your start and end dates.

  • Enter the new prices for each participant type or for the group.

  • Set specific days of the week for these rates, if available.

  1. Add a "Private Booking Surcharge" or a separate pricing structure for private groups, if applicable.

  2. Enter the specific prices for each variation.

Configuring Minimums, Maximums & Inclusions

  1. Set the minimum and maximum number of participants for group bookings, if available.

  2. Add notes about what's included in the price (e.g., "Includes morning tea") or what's not (e.g., "Lunch not included") to manage guest expectations.

Reviewing and Saving Your Changes

  1. Review all entered prices, variations, and date-specific rates.

  2. Click the Save or Update Experience button.

Tips

  • Keep pricing easy for guests to understand.

  • Review pricing regularly (at least once a year).

  • Consider the value you provide, not just your prices.

  • Research your competition, but price based on your unique value.

  • Promote special offers.
