The ATDW sync ensures your Tourism Accelerator listings stay up-to-date with your Australian Tourism Data Warehouse (ATDW) information. This eliminates the need to manually update details like opening hours and pricing in multiple places, saving you time and ensuring accuracy for potential guests.

Accessing this feature

Go to Settings > Integrations > ATDW Sync

How to use it

If your ATDW sync isn't working as expected, common issues can be quickly resolved. Here's how to investigate and fix them:

Check Your ATDW Connection Status

  1. The connection between Tourism Accelerator and ATDW may need to be refreshed or may have expired.

  2. On your ATDW Sync page, check your overall ATDW connection status. You'll typically see a message like "Connected" or "Disconnected."

  3. If it says "Disconnected" or "Authentication Required," re-establish the link.

  4. Click the Reconnect ATDW or Authenticate ATDW button. This will take you to the ATDW website to log in and authorise the connection again.

  5. Once you've re-authorised, you'll be brought back to Tourism Accelerator.

Verify Your ATDW Listing ID

  1. Ensure the ATDW Listing ID you've entered into Tourism Accelerator matches exactly the ID of your published listing on ATDW.

  2. On your ATDW Sync page in Tourism Accelerator, locate the specific listing that isn't synchronising. You'll see a field displaying your ATDW Listing ID. Note this number.

  3. Open a new tab in your browser and go to the ATDW website (atdw.com.au) and log in to your ATDW account.

  4. Go to your listing within ATDW and find its unique ID.

  5. Compare the two IDs. Are they identical? If not, carefully update the ID in Tourism Accelerator to match your ATDW listing exactly.

  6. Click Save or Update Listing once you've made any changes.

Confirm Your ATDW Listing Status

  1. For the sync to work, your listing on ATDW needs to be live and publicly available.

  2. Still logged into your ATDW account, check the status of your specific listing.

  3. Is it marked as "Published," "Active," or "Live"? If it's in any other state (e.g., "Draft," "Pending," "Expired," "Deactivated"), you'll need to publish it on the ATDW website.

  4. Only once it's live on ATDW can the sync feature work.

Initiate a Manual Re-sync

  1. Sometimes, a manual refresh is needed to restart the process.

  2. Back on your ATDW Sync page in Tourism Accelerator, next to the listing that's having trouble, you should see a button like Sync Now or Refresh Data.

  3. Click this button.

  4. Allow a few moments for the process to complete. You might see a "Synchronising..." message.

  5. Once it's done, check your listing on your Tourism Accelerator platform to see if the information has updated.

Clear Your Browser Cache

  1. Sometimes, your browser may retain old data, causing display issues. Clearing your browser's cache is a common fix.

  2. For most browsers (like Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari), you can usually find the option to clear cache and cookies in the browser's settings or history menu.

  3. Look for something like "Clear browsing data," "Clear history," or "Privacy and Security."

  4. Choose to clear "Cached images and files" and "Cookies and other site data."

  5. Select a time range like "All time" for complete removal.

  6. After clearing, close your browser completely and then re-open it.

  7. Log back into Tourism Accelerator and check your listing again.

Tips

  • Check your ATDW Sync page in Tourism Accelerator periodically to ensure everything is functioning correctly.

  • Keep your ATDW listing up-to-date. The sync can only pull what's available on ATDW.

  • If you have multiple experiences, ensure each has its own unique ATDW listing ID and that you're synchronising the correct ID to the corresponding experience in Tourism Accelerator.

  • While syncs are usually very fast, there can sometimes be a slight delay. If you've just made a big change on ATDW, allow a few minutes before expecting to see it reflected everywhere.
