allows you to create professional completion certificates for your programs. Align certificates with your brand identity and accurately reflect participant achievement, enhancing the perceived value of your programs.
Accessing this feature
From your main dashboard, navigate to Program Management .
Select the specific program for which you wish to design a certificate.
Within the program's settings, locate and click on 'Certificate Design'.
How to use it
Designing and customising a program completion certificate involves several steps to ensure accuracy and brand alignment:
Select or Create a Certificate
Upon entering the 'Certificate Design' area, you can choose to either select an existing template from the library or initiate a new certificate design from scratch.
Opting for a template provides a structured starting point, while starting from scratch offers complete design flexibility.
Define Certificate Layout and Orientation
Choose the desired page orientation (landscape or portrait) and overall dimensions for your certificate.
This establishes the canvas for your design elements.
Integrate Branding Elements
Upload Your Organisation's Logo: Add your primary logo, ensuring it is a high-resolution image file (e.g., PNG, JPEG) for optimal print quality. Position it appropriately on the certificate.
Apply Brand Colours and Fonts: Use the colour picker to match your organisation's brand palette for text, borders, and background elements. Select approved fonts that synchronise with your branding guidelines.
Add Dynamic Data Fields
Insert placeholders that will automatically populate with participant-specific and program-specific information upon certificate generation. Common dynamic fields include:
#{{ParticipantName}} : Full name of the program completer.
#{{ProgramName}} : The official title of the completed program.
#{{CompletionDate}} : The date the participant successfully completed the program.
#{{CertificateID}} : A unique identifier for each certificate, crucial for verification.
#{{InstructorName}} : The name of the primary instructor or course lead.
#{{Duration}} : The specified duration of the program.
Insert Static Text and Messaging
Add fixed text elements such as congratulatory messages, statements of achievement, or any disclaimers.
Ensure the wording is professional and clear.
You can customise font size, style, and colour for each text block.
Incorporate Digital Signatures
Upload high-resolution images of authorised digital signatures (e.g., Program Director, CEO).
Position these signatures clearly above designated name and title fields.
Multiple signatures can be added as required.
Add Visual Enhancements
Consider incorporating borders, background patterns, or decorative elements that enhance the certificate's aesthetic appeal while maintaining professionalism. Avoid overly complex designs that may detract from readability.
Preview the Certificate
Use the preview function to review the certificate's appearance. This allows you to see how dynamic fields will render and to identify any alignment or formatting issues before publishing.
Save and Publish
Once satisfied with the design, save your changes.
You will then be prompted to publish the certificate, making it available for assignment to your program.
Published certificates can be edited later if required.
Assign to Program Completion
Link your newly designed certificate to the program's completion criteria. This automates the generation and distribution of the certificate to participants upon successful program completion.

Tips
To ensure your completion certificates are impactful and professional:
Prioritise Brand Consistency: Ensure all certificate elements, including logos, colours, and fonts, strictly adhere to your organisation's branding guidelines. This reinforces brand recognition and professionalism.
Maintain Clarity and Simplicity: A cluttered certificate can diminish its impact. Focus on a clean, professional layout that highlights key information without unnecessary distractions.
Verify Dynamic Field Mapping: Before publishing, thoroughly test the certificate generation process to confirm that all dynamic fields (e.g., participant name, completion date) are populating correctly from your data sources.
Use High-Quality Assets: Always upload high-resolution versions of your organisation's logo and any digital signatures. Blurry or pixelated images detract from the certificate's professional appearance.
Review for Accuracy: Proofread all static text for grammatical errors and typos, and factual accuracy. Incorrect information undermines the certificate's credibility.
Consider Accessibility: Ensure sufficient contrast between text and background colours, and use legible font sizes to make certificates accessible to all recipients.
Test the End-to-End Process: Simulate a program completion to confirm that the certificate generates correctly, looks as intended, and is distributed as expected to participants.
