How to use it

The Resource Library is designed for intuitive navigation and efficient resource discovery. Follow these steps to maximise its utility:

  1. Go to the Library: Click on the "Program Resource Library" link in your main navigation or dashboard to open the feature.

  2. Browse Categories: The library is organised into logical categories and sub-categories, typically displayed as folders or a sidebar menu. Click on a category name to view its contents. This structure helps you narrow down your search by topic or program phase.

  3. Use Search Functionality: To quickly find specific resources, use the search bar located at the top of the library interface. Enter keywords, document titles, or relevant phrases. The system will display all matching resources, allowing for rapid retrieval.

  4. Apply Filters: Enhance your search by applying filters. Common filters may include resource type (e.g., PDF, Video, Template, Link), date added, or relevance. Select multiple filters to refine your results and pinpoint the exact resource you need.

  5. Preview Resources: Before downloading, many resources can be previewed directly within the library. Click on a resource title to open a preview window, allowing you to quickly assess its relevance and content without committing to a download.

  6. Download and Access Resources: To download a resource, click the Download icon or button associated with it. For video content or external links, clicking the resource will typically open it in a new tab for direct viewing or access.

  7. Mark Favourites: For resources you access frequently, use the Mark as Favourite option (often represented by a star icon). This adds the resource to a dedicated 'Favourites' section, providing quick access without repeated searching or browsing.

  8. Review Recently Added/Updated Content: The library often features a section highlighting 'New Resources' or 'Recently Updated'. Regularly checking this section ensures you remain current with the latest additions and revisions to program materials.

  9. Provide Feedback: If you encounter an issue with a resource, or believe a specific resource is missing, use the feedback mechanism (if available) or contact support. Your input helps improve the library's comprehensiveness and accuracy.

Tips

  • Regularly explore the library's structure and content, particularly when new program modules or phases start. Familiarity with available resources will save time later.

  • When seeking specific information, always begin with the search bar and refine results using filters. This is significantly more efficient than manual browsing.

  • Mark essential documents, templates, or guides as favourites. This creates a personalised shortcut, reducing the effort required to locate high-priority resources.

  • For frequently used templates or forms, download a local copy to your device for offline access and immediate use, ensuring you always have the latest version.

  • Periodically check the 'New Resources' or 'Recently Updated' sections to stay informed about the latest content and ensure your knowledge base remains current.
