How to use it

Review the Automatic Synchronisation Frequency:

  1. In the Synchronisation Schedule tab, view the frequency for automatic ATDW experience updates. This typically occurs daily or multiple times in a 24-hour period.

Understand Last Synchronisation Details:

  1. The dashboard displays the date and time of the last successful synchronisation, the number of experiences processed, and any detected changes.

Initiate a Manual Synchronisation:

  1. For immediate updates after making changes to your experience listings in ATDW, select Synchronise Now or Run Manual Sync.

  2. A confirmation message appears, and the system begins the update. This may take several minutes.

Monitor Synchronisation Status:

  1. While a synchronisation is in progress, the status displays as "Pending" or "In Progress."

  2. Upon completion, the status updates to "Successful" or "Failed."

Review Synchronisation History:

  1. A detailed log of past synchronizations is available, including timestamps, the number of experiences processed, and the outcome of each synchronisation.

Interpreting Synchronisation Logs and Errors:

  1. In the event of a failed synchronisation, the system provides error messages within the synchronisation history, detailing which experiences encountered issues and the nature of the problem.

  2. Common issues include data formatting discrepancies or missing mandatory fields in ATDW.

Tips

  • Check the synchronisation history at least once a week to identify and address any potential issues promptly.

  • After making substantial changes to your experience details, availability, or pricing in ATDW, initiate a manual synchronisation immediately.

  • Ensure all experience information in your ATDW listings is accurate, complete, and adheres to ATDW's data standards.

  • Be aware of your configured synchronisation frequency and the implications of the automated schedule versus manual synchronizations.

  • Carefully review the error logs provided in the event of a failed synchronisation to diagnose and correct the underlying problem in your ATDW data.

  • If multiple individuals manage your ATDW listings, ensure everyone understands the synchronisation schedule and best practices for making updates.

  • Regularly review your ATDW listings and archive any experiences that are no longer active or relevant.
