ensure accurate time-sensitive data within Tourism Accelerator. Setting your timezone displays scheduled experience times in your local time, preventing guest miscommunication about booking times and potential revenue loss from missed bookings. For example, guests will see the correct start time for a tour, avoiding missed bookings.

How to use it
Changing your timezone is a simple process designed to ensure your platform experience aligns with your local time. Follow these steps to configure or update your timezone:
Go to Timezone Settings: Access the Timezone section as described above under "Accessing This Feature".
Select Your Timezone: You will find a dropdown menu labelled Select Timezone. Click on this menu to reveal a comprehensive list of global timezones.
Choose the Correct Timezone: Scroll through the list or begin typing to filter the options. Select the timezone that accurately reflects your current geographical location. Timezones are typically listed with their UTC offset and a representative city or region (e.g., (UTC+10:00) Canberra, Melbourne, Sydney). Ensure you select the option that considers any local daylight saving variations if applicable to your region.
Confirm Daylight Saving Adjustment (if applicable): Some timezones automatically adjust for daylight saving. If your selected timezone requires manual confirmation or offers an option for automatic adjustment, check that the setting aligns with your preference. For most Australian timezones, this is handled automatically by the system.
Save Changes: After selecting your timezone, locate and click the Save button, usually located at the bottom of the page.
Verification: Upon successful saving, a confirmation message will typically appear, indicating that your timezone has been updated. All time-sensitive data displayed within the platform will now reflect this new setting.
