Strong passwords protect your account and data. This prevents unauthorised access, safeguarding sensitive information like guest details and booking information, and preventing unauthorised changes to your listed experiences.
Accessing this feature
Go to Settings > Security
How to use it
Go to Settings > Security.
Locate the Change Password or Set New Password option and click on it.
If you are changing an existing password, enter your current password for verification.
In the New Password field, type your chosen new password. The system provides real-time feedback, indicating whether your entry meets the specified requirements (e.g., minimum length, character types).
Passwords must consist of a minimum of 12 characters.
Passwords require at least one uppercase letter (A-Z), one lowercase letter (a-z), one numerical digit (0-9), and one special character (e.g., !, @, #, $, %, ^, &, *).
You cannot reuse your last 5 unique passwords.
Passwords cannot contain easily guessable information such as your username, email address, common dictionary words, or sequential character patterns (e.g., "123456", "abcdef").
Accounts will be temporarily locked after 5 consecutive unsuccessful login attempts. This lockout duration is typically 30 minutes.
A visual strength indicator provides real-time feedback on the strength of your chosen password.
Re-enter your new password precisely in the Confirm New Password field. Ensure that the feedback indicators confirm your new password meets all criteria.
Click the Save or Update Password button to finalise the change. You will receive a confirmation message, and your new password will be immediately active.
Tips
Use a reputable password manager to generate, store, and automatically fill unique, complex passwords for all your online accounts.
Never reuse the same password across multiple services.
Do not share your password with workmates, friends, or family. Use designated team access features or role-based permissions where available.
Enable Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) or Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) for an extra layer of security.
Remain cautious against unsolicited emails, messages, or websites that request your login credentials.
Regularly review your account's security settings.
If you suspect your password has been compromised, change your password immediately and review all account activity logs for any unauthorised actions.
