adds an extra layer of security to your account. This protects your business from unauthorised access to guest data and financial information, preventing actions like booking cancellations. By enabling 2FA, you safeguard your business and maintain guest trust.

Accessing this feature

Go to Settings > Security

How to use it

  1. Go to Security Settings: As outlined above, access your Security Settings.

  2. Locate Two-Factor Authentication: Within the Security Settings, find the section titled "Two-Factor Authentication" or "2FA".

  3. Initiate Setup: Click the Enable 2FA or Set up 2FA button. The system will guide you through the process.

  4. Choose Your Authentication Method: Setting up with an Authenticator App.

  5. Saving Recovery Codes: After successful 2FA setup, the system will present you with a list of unique recovery codes. These codes are important. Each code can be used once to access your account if you lose access to your authenticator device or phone number.

  6. Completion: Your Two-Factor Authentication is now active. The next time you log in, after entering your password, you will be prompted to enter a code from your authenticator app (or an SMS code, if that was your chosen method).

Tips

  • Store your recovery codes in a highly secure, offline location, separate from your primary device. Consider a password manager, an encrypted drive, or a physical printout in a secure place. Never store them on the same device as your authenticator app or in an easily accessible digital format.

  • Never share your 2FA codes or recovery codes with anyone. Our support team will never ask for these details.

  • Ensure the time on your authenticator device (smartphone) is automatically synchronised with network time. Incorrect time can lead to invalid 2FA codes.
