How to use it

Upon accessing the Session Management page, you will see a list of all active sessions associated with your account. Each entry provides key details to help you identify and manage your logins effectively.

View Active Sessions

The page displays a table or list detailing each active session. This typically includes device types, locations, and 'Last Active' times.

Carefully review the details of each session. Pay particular attention to device types, locations, and 'Last Active' times that do not correspond with your recent activity or known devices to identify unfamiliar sessions.

Terminate a Specific Session

To terminate a session, locate the session you want to end and click the Terminate or End Session button next to it.

Understand Session Lifespan

Sessions may automatically expire after a period of inactivity or after a set duration for security reasons. The 'Last Active' timestamp helps you understand how recently a session was in use.

Troubleshoot Login Issues

If you are experiencing difficulty logging in from a new device, or suspect a previous session is causing conflict, reviewing and potentially terminating older sessions can resolve the issue.

Tips

  • Regularly review sessions, especially after using public computers, shared devices, or travelling.

  • Terminate unfamiliar sessions immediately to protect your account from unauthorized access.

  • Always explicitly log out of your account when using computers or devices that are not your own.

  • Use strong, unique passwords and enable Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for an additional layer of security.

  • Be aware that sessions may automatically expire after a period of inactivity.
