Submitting Timesheets

Once you've logged your hours, the next step is submitting them for approval. This guide walks you through the submission process and what to expect afterward.

Before You Submit

Take a moment to review your timesheet entries:

  • Navigate to /timesheets

  • Review all entries in your Draft section

  • Check that dates, times, and assignments are correct

  • Ensure break times are accurately recorded

  • Add any missing notes about work completed

Once submitted, you'll need to contact the operator to make changes, so it's worth double-checking now.

How to Submit Your Timesheet

Submitting Individual Entries

  • Go to /timesheets

  • Find the entry you want to submit

  • Click the Submit button next to the entry

  • Confirm your submission

Submitting Multiple Entries at Once

If you have several entries ready to submit:

  • Navigate to /timesheets

  • Select the entries you want to submit using the checkboxes

  • Click Submit Selected

  • Review the summary of hours being submitted

  • Click Confirm Submission

What Happens After Submission

Once you submit your timesheet:

  • Notification sent — The operator receives an alert about your submission

  • Review period — The operator reviews your logged hours

  • Approval or query — The operator either approves the hours or contacts you with questions

  • Payment processing — Approved hours are queued for payment

Responding to Queries

If an operator has questions about your timesheet:

  • You'll receive a notification (email and/or in-app)

  • Go to /timesheets and find the queried entry

  • Click to view the operator's question

  • Respond with clarification or make requested adjustments

  • Resubmit if changes were made

Common queries include:

  • Clarification on overtime hours

  • Questions about break durations

  • Verification of specific dates or times

Respond to queries promptly to avoid payment delays.

Submission Deadlines

Meeting submission deadlines is important for timely payment:

  • Check each operator's deadline requirements

  • Submit as soon as possible after completing work

  • Don't wait until the deadline if you can submit earlier

  • Set reminders if you tend to forget

Late submissions may not be processed until the following pay cycle.

Correcting Submitted Timesheets

If you notice an error after submitting:

  • Minor corrections — Contact the operator directly to request an adjustment

  • Significant errors — The operator may reject the entry so you can resubmit with corrections

To avoid this, always review carefully before submitting.

Tips for Smooth Submissions

  • Submit regularly — Don't let entries pile up; submit at the end of each week or pay period

  • Keep notes — Add clear descriptions to help operators understand your work

  • Be accurate — Correct hours build trust and speed up approvals

  • Check your details — Ensure your payment details are current in your profile

Understanding Pay Periods

Different operators may have different pay schedules:

Monthly

Check with each operator for their specific pay period and submission requirements.

After Approval

  • The hours appear in your earnings summary

  • Payment is processed according to the operator's pay schedule

  • You can view the payment details in your earnings section

See our guide on Viewing Your Earnings to track your approved hours and payments.
