Setting Up Cruise Alerts

Never miss a cruise opportunity — set up alerts to be notified about ship arrivals.

Why use cruise alerts?

Alerts help you:

  • Know when ships are scheduled to arrive

  • Receive updates about schedule changes

  • Plan ahead for busy cruise days

  • Never be caught off-guard

Configuring your alerts

Step 1: Access alert settings

Step 2: Select your ports

Choose which ports you want to monitor:

  • View the list of available ports

  • Tick the boxes next to ports you serve

  • You can select multiple ports

Step 3: Choose notification types

Select which events trigger alerts:

  • New arrivals — when ships are added to the schedule

  • Schedule changes — if arrival times change

  • Cancellations — if visits are cancelled

  • Weather alerts — if conditions may affect arrivals

Step 4: Set notification timing

Choose when to receive alerts:

  • Immediately — as soon as changes occur

  • Daily digest — one summary per day

  • Weekly digest — weekly arrival summary

Step 5: Select delivery method

Choose how you want to receive alerts:

  • Email — to your registered email

  • In-app — notification in Launchpad

  • Both — email and in-app

Step 6: Save settings

Click Save to activate your alerts.

Adjusting frequency

If you're receiving too many (or too few) alerts:

  • Adjust notification timing

  • Add or remove ports as needed

Pausing alerts

To temporarily stop alerts:

  • Go to alert settings

  • Toggle Pause Alerts

  • Turn back on when ready

Alert best practices

Choose relevant ports only

Only monitor ports you can actually serve. Too many alerts becomes noise.

Use daily digests for planning

If you prefer to review arrivals in batches, daily digests work well for forward planning.

Combine with calendar checks

Alerts are great for changes, but also check the arrivals calendar regularly for the full picture.

What's next?

Timely alerts mean you're always ready when cruise visitors arrive.
