Managing Event Tickets
Tickets let you control who attends your event and how much they pay. You can create multiple ticket types — from free general admission to premium VIP experiences.
Understanding ticket types

Information sessions
Member-only events
Set the price to $0, and attendees register without payment.

Set "Standard" Sales Start when Early Bird ends
Tiered pricing

Standard — remaining tickets at full price
Member discounts
Offer special rates:
Create a hidden ticket type for members
Share the direct link through member communications
Or use promo codes (if enabled)
Handling GST
For Australian events:

Tips for successful ticketing
Price appropriately — consider your costs and perceived value
Create urgency — limited quantities or early bird deadlines
Be clear — describe exactly what's included with each ticket
Limit purchases — prevent ticket scalping with max per order limits
Offer options — different price points reach different audiences
