Viewing Booking History

Your booking history is a valuable resource for understanding your business, reconnecting with past guests, and resolving queries. Tourism Accelerator keeps a complete record of all bookings, making it easy to look back and find what you need.

Accessing Past Bookings

Using the Bookings List

  • Navigate to Bookings from your main menu

  • By default, you'll see upcoming bookings

  • Click the Date Range filter

  • Select Past Bookings or choose specific dates

  • All historical bookings will display

Using the Calendar

  • Navigate to Calendar

  • Use the date navigation to go to past dates

  • Click on any historical booking to view details

  • Past dates show completed and cancelled bookings

Filtering Your Booking History

Narrow down your search with filters:

By Date Range

  • Last 7 days

  • Last 30 days

  • Last 3 months

  • Custom date range

By Status

  • Completed (experience delivered)

  • Cancelled

  • No-show

  • All statuses

By Experience

  • Select specific tours or activities

  • Compare performance across offerings

By Guest

  • Search by guest name

  • Search by email address

  • Find all bookings for a specific guest

What's Included in Historical Booking Records

Each past booking retains:

Booking Details

  • Date and time of the experience

  • Experience/tour booked

  • Guest count and composition

  • Any add-ons or extras selected

Guest Information

  • Name and contact details

  • Special requirements or notes

  • Communication preferences

Financial Information

  • Total amount charged

  • Payment method used

  • Any refunds processed

  • Commission or fees (if applicable)

Activity Log

  • When the booking was created

  • Any modifications made

  • Communications sent

  • Staff interactions logged

Reconnecting with Past Guests

Use your history to:

  • Identify guests who haven't booked recently

  • Send targeted offers to previous visitors

  • Recognise returning guests when they book again

Resolving Queries

When guests or staff have questions:

  • Find specific bookings by reference number

  • View what was booked and when

  • Check what was paid and any refunds

  • Review communications sent

Analyse your history to:

Searching for Specific Bookings

By Booking Reference

  • Go to Bookings

  • Enter the reference number in the search box

  • The specific booking will appear

By Guest Details

  • Enter guest name or email in search

  • All matching bookings display

  • Click to view any booking

By Date

  • Use the date filter

  • Select the specific date

  • All bookings for that date appear

Booking History for Returning Guests

When a guest books again, you can easily see:

  • Their complete booking history with you

  • Any preferences or requirements noted

  • Past experiences they've enjoyed

  • Total value of their bookings


This helps you:

  • Recognise and appreciate loyal guests

  • Avoid recommending the same experience

  • Anticipate their needs and preferences

  • Offer appropriate loyalty rewards


Exporting Booking History

Need your historical data outside the system?

  • Go to Bookings

  • Apply your desired filters

  • Click Export

  • Choose your format (CSV, Excel)

  • Download the file

Archived Bookings

Very old bookings may be archived for system performance:

  • Archived bookings are still accessible

  • May take slightly longer to load

  • Full details remain available

  • Can be exported as needed
