ATDW Integration

The Australian Tourism Data Warehouse (ATDW) is the national platform for tourism product listings. Connecting Launchpad to ATDW means your products can be discovered on tourism websites across Australia, including state tourism sites, visitor information centres, and booking platforms.

What is ATDW?

ATDW (Australian Tourism Data Warehouse) is Australia's central repository for tourism product information:

  • National distribution — your listings appear on major tourism websites

  • Quality assured — ATDW maintains standards for tourism information

  • Industry standard — used by Tourism Australia and all state tourism organisations

  • Trusted source — visitors rely on ATDW-powered websites for travel planning

Major platforms that use ATDW data include:

  • Tourism Australia (australia.com)

  • State tourism websites (visitnsw.com, visitvictoria.com, etc.)

  • Regional tourism websites

  • Visitor Information Centres

  • Travel agents and tour operators

Why connect to ATDW?

Integrating with ATDW through Launchpad provides:

  • Wider reach — appear on hundreds of tourism websites automatically

  • Single source of truth — update once in Launchpad, sync everywhere

  • Time savings — no need to update multiple websites manually

  • Quality listings — Launchpad helps you meet ATDW standards

  • Better visibility — reach visitors planning trips to Australia

Before you start

You'll need:

  • An active ATDW account and listing(s)

  • Your ATDW distributor credentials

  • Owner or admin access in Launchpad

  • Products set up in Launchpad

If you don't have an ATDW account, contact your state or territory tourism organisation to apply.

Understanding ATDW listings

ATDW uses specific categories for tourism products:

  • Accommodation — hotels, motels, B&Bs, holiday rentals

  • Attractions — museums, galleries, natural attractions

  • Tours — guided experiences and day trips

  • Events — festivals, markets, exhibitions

  • Restaurants — dining establishments

  • Transport — rental cars, ferries, airlines

  • Hire — equipment rental

Your products in Launchpad should align with these categories for successful syncing.
