Assessments help you check your understanding and earn credentials. They're designed to reinforce your learning, not to catch you out.

Types of assessments

Knowledge checks

Quick quizzes during lessons:

  • Usually 2-5 questions

  • Instant feedback

  • Help reinforce key points

  • Often don't count toward certification

Module quizzes

End-of-module assessments:

  • Cover material from the entire module

  • May have a minimum passing score

  • Usually can be retaken

  • Count toward program completion

Final assessments

End-of-program tests:

  • Comprehensive coverage of all material

  • Higher stakes for certification

  • May have attempt limits

  • Often have time limits

Practical assessments

Hands-on demonstrations:

Taking an assessment
