Setting Product Availability

Availability settings control when customers can book your products. Whether you operate daily, seasonally, or on specific days, Launchpad helps you manage your schedule.

Understanding availability

Product availability determines:

  • Which days your product operates

  • What times it runs

  • Seasonal variations

  • Blackout periods

How to set availability

  • Go to Products from the main menu

  • Click on the product you want to configure

  • Click Edit to enter edit mode

  • Navigate to the Availability or Operating Times section

  • Configure your schedule

  • Click Save

Operating days

Set which days of the week your product operates:

  • Daily — available every day

  • Weekdays only — Monday to Friday

  • Weekends only — Saturday and Sunday

  • Custom days — select specific days

For products that run on specific days:

  • Select the days you operate

  • Uncheck days you don't operate

  • Save your changes

Operating times

Specify when your product runs:

  • Start time — when the experience begins

  • End time — when it concludes

  • Duration — how long it takes

For tours and experiences:

  • Set your departure time

  • Include the expected duration

  • Note any variations (e.g., "Morning tours: 9am, Afternoon tours: 2pm")

For accommodation:

  • Check-in time — when guests can arrive

  • Check-out time — when guests must depart

  • Reception hours — when staff are available

Seasonal availability

If your product operates seasonally:

  • Use Rate Periods to define seasons

  • Set different availability for each period

  • Communicate seasonal changes in your description

For example:

  • Summer season: Daily, 8am – 6pm

  • Winter season: Weekends only, 9am – 4pm

Blackout dates

Block specific dates when you're not operating:

  • Public holidays

  • Maintenance periods

  • Private events

  • Staff training days

To add blackout dates:

  • Navigate to availability settings

  • Select the dates to block

  • Optionally add a reason

  • Save changes

Capacity and availability

Availability works together with capacity:

  • Capacity limits how many can book

  • Availability determines when they can book

If you have limited capacity, ensure your availability reflects realistic booking slots.

Communicating availability

Help customers understand your schedule:

  • Mention operating seasons in your description

  • Note any regular closures

  • Highlight peak times for popular products

Best practices

Be accurate

  • Only show availability when you can actually operate

  • Update promptly when schedules change

  • Consider weather impacts on outdoor activities

Plan ahead

  • Set availability for upcoming seasons early

  • Review and update quarterly

  • Coordinate with rate period changes

Consider your customers

  • Offer variety if possible (morning and afternoon options)

  • Note family-friendly timings

  • Indicate flexibility for group bookings

Clear availability information helps customers plan their trips and reduces booking confusion.
