Project Reports

Reports help you understand how your projects are performing. Track time, monitor budgets, measure progress, and share insights with stakeholders — all from your project data.

Accessing project reports

From a single project

  • Go to Projects and open your project

  • Click the Reports tab

  • Select the report type you want to view

From the Project Hub

  • Click Reports in the navigation

  • View reports across all projects

Report types

Time reports

See how time is being spent:

What's included:

  • Total hours logged

  • Billable vs non-billable breakdown

  • Time by team member

  • Time by task

  • Daily/weekly/monthly trends

Use this to:

  • Track effort against estimates

  • Identify where time goes

  • Prepare client billing

  • Monitor team workload

Budget reports

Track financial performance:

What's included:

  • Budget vs actual spend

  • Time costs (hours × rate)

  • Expenses logged

  • Remaining budget

  • Projected final cost

Use this to:

  • Monitor budget utilisation

  • Identify overruns early

  • Report to stakeholders

  • Improve future estimates

Progress reports

Monitor project advancement:

What's included:

  • Task completion percentage

  • Milestones achieved

  • Overdue items

  • Upcoming deadlines

  • Status history

  • Celebrate achievements

Team reports

Understand team contribution:

What's included:

  • Tasks assigned per person

  • Tasks completed per person

  • Time logged by team member

  • Workload distribution

Filtering reports

Narrow down your data:

Date range

  • This week

Understanding report data

Time breakdowns

Billable time:

  • Hours that can be charged to clients

  • Multiplied by rate for dollar value

  • Feeds into invoicing

Non-billable time:

  • Internal work, admin, learning

  • Important for understanding true cost

  • Not charged to clients

Budget metrics

Budget utilisation:

  • Percentage of budget used

  • (Spent ÷ Budget) × 100

Burn rate:

  • How quickly budget is being consumed

  • Helps predict if you'll stay on budget

Projected total:

  • Estimated final cost based on current pace

  • Helps identify potential overruns early

Progress metrics

Completion percentage:

  • Tasks complete ÷ Total tasks

  • Shows overall progress

Velocity:

  • Tasks completed per time period

  • Indicates pace of work

Exporting reports

Share or analyse data externally:

Export options

  • Open the report

  • Click Export

  • Choose format:

- PDF — for sharing and printing - CSV — for spreadsheet analysis - Excel — formatted spreadsheet

  • Download the file

What's exported

  • All visible data

  • Applied filters

  • Charts and tables (PDF)

  • Raw data (CSV/Excel)

Sharing reports

Distribute insights to stakeholders:

Email reports

  • Generate the report

  • Click Share or Email

  • Enter recipient email addresses

  • Add a message if desired

  • Send

Scheduled reports

Set up automatic reporting:

  • Go to report settings

  • Click Schedule

  • Choose frequency (weekly, monthly)

  • Select recipients

  • Reports are sent automatically

Report links

Share a live view:

  • Click Get Link

  • Copy the report URL

  • Share with stakeholders

  • They see current data when they visit
