  • Upcoming bookings — reminders about tomorrow's bookings

Team notifications

  • Team member removed — when someone leaves

  • Task assignments — when tasks are assigned to you

  • Mentions — when you're mentioned in comments

Managing your notifications

Accessing notification settings

  • Go to Settings from the main menu

Or go directly to Settings > Notifications.

For each notification type:

  • Find the notification category

  • Toggle the switch to turn it On or Off

  • Changes save automatically

Email frequency options

Some notifications offer frequency choices:

  • Instant — receive immediately when events occur

  • Daily digest — one summary email per day

  • Weekly digest — one summary email per week

  • Off — no emails for this category

Choose the frequency that suits your workflow.

Recommended settings

For business owners

Keep these enabled for complete visibility:

  • All booking notifications (instant)

  • Payment notifications (instant)

  • Security alerts (instant)

  • Team changes (instant)

  • Daily digest for CRM activity

For team members

Consider these settings:

  • Task assignments (instant)

  • Mentions (instant)

  • Daily digest for bookings

  • Weekly digest for business updates

For occasional users

Minimise interruptions with:

  • Security alerts only (instant)

  • Weekly digest for everything else

Managing notification overload

If you're receiving too many emails:

1. Review your current settings

Go to Settings > Notifications and audit each category. Ask yourself: "Do I need to know this immediately?"

2. Switch to digests

For non-urgent notifications, switch from instant to daily or weekly digests.

3. Turn off non-essential alerts

If you never act on certain notifications, turn them off.

4. Use in-app notifications instead

Many notifications also appear in your Launchpad dashboard. You might not need the email version.

Team notification settings

If you manage a team, note that:

  • Each team member controls their own notification preferences

  • You cannot change another team member's settings

  • New team members start with default settings

  • Encourage team members to customise their preferences

Ensuring you receive notifications

Check your spam folder

If notifications aren't arriving:

  • Check your spam or junk folder

  • Mark Launchpad emails as "not spam"

  • Add [email protected] to your contacts

Verify your email address

Check email filters

If you use email rules or filters, ensure they're not redirecting Launchpad emails.

Notification types explained

Instant notifications

Sent immediately when an event occurs. Use for:

  • Time-sensitive information

  • Actions requiring immediate response

  • Security-related alerts

Digest notifications

Consolidated into a single email sent at a scheduled time. Use for:

  • Informational updates

  • Activity summaries

  • Non-urgent notifications

The right notification settings help you stay informed without feeling overwhelmed.
