Adding a Trade Partner

Build your trade partner database by adding the wholesalers, travel agents, and tour operators you work with. This makes it easy to share rate sheets, manage contracts, and track relationships.

How to add a trade partner

  • Go to Trade from the main menu

  • Select Partners from the hub menu

  • Click Add Partner in the top right

  • Fill in the partner details (see below)

  • Click Save

Partner information to provide

Company details

  • Company Name — the partner's business name (required)

  • Partner Type — select from:

- Travel Agent - Wholesaler - Tour Operator - DMC (Destination Management Company)

  • Website — their website URL

Contact information

  • Contact Name — your main contact person

  • Email — primary email address

  • Phone — contact phone number

Location

  • Country — where they're based

  • City — their city or region

Contract details

  • Commission Rate — default commission percentage

  • Contract Start Date — when your agreement begins

  • Contract End Date — when your agreement expires

Notes

Add any additional information:

  • How you met

  • Special arrangements

  • Key account details


Partner status

Set the partner's status:

  • Active — currently working with you

  • Pending — in discussion, not yet confirmed

  • Inactive — no longer active but keep on record

After adding a partner

Once added, you can:

  • View the partner in your Partners list

  • Include them when sharing rate sheets

  • Create contracts specific to them

  • Track your relationship over time

Tips for managing partners

  • Keep information current — update contact details when they change

  • Add notes — record important conversations and decisions

  • Set contract dates — get reminders before agreements expire

  • Categorise correctly — helps you filter and report later


A well-maintained partner database is the foundation of successful trade relationships.
