Setting Up Your Account

Before you dive into managing your business, take a few minutes to set up your personal account. This ensures your details are correct and your account is secure.

Your profile settings

Your profile is your personal information within Launchpad — separate from your business profile.

How to update your profile

  • Go to Settings from the main menu

  • You'll land on the Profile tab

  • Update your details:

- Full name — how your name appears in Launchpad - Phone number — for account recovery and notifications - Timezone — ensures times display correctly for you

  • Click Save Changes

Uploading a profile photo

A profile photo helps your team identify you:

  • On the Profile page, click your avatar (or the placeholder)

  • Select Upload Photo

  • Choose an image from your computer

  • Adjust the crop if needed

  • Click Save

Setting your timezone

Getting your timezone right is important — it affects how dates and times appear throughout Launchpad.

  • Go to Settings

  • Find the Timezone dropdown

  • Select your timezone (e.g., "Australia/Sydney")

  • Click Save Changes

Security settings

Keeping your account secure protects your business data.

Changing your password

  • Go to Settings

  • Click the Security tab

  • Enter your current password

  • Enter your new password (twice to confirm)

  • Click Update Password

Choose a strong password:

  • At least 8 characters

  • Mix of letters, numbers, and symbols

  • Not used on other websites

Setting up two-factor authentication (2FA)

Two-factor authentication adds an extra layer of security. When enabled, you'll need both your password and a code sent to your phone to sign in.

  • Go to Settings

  • Find Two-Factor Authentication

  • Click Enable 2FA

  • Enter your mobile phone number

  • Enter the verification code sent to your phone

  • Click Verify and Enable

We strongly recommend enabling 2FA for all accounts.

Notification preferences

Control what notifications you receive:

  • Go to Settings

  • Toggle notifications on or off for:

- Email notifications — updates via email - Push notifications — browser alerts - Marketing emails — news and tips from Tourism Accelerator - Weekly digest — summary of your activity

  • Changes save automatically
