Team Training Assignments
Develop your team's skills by assigning relevant training. Track who needs to complete what, set deadlines, and ensure everyone has the knowledge they need.
Who can assign training
Manager and admin roles
Training can be assigned by:
Organisation administrators
Team managers
Department heads
Training coordinators
Check with your organisation about who has assignment permissions.
Assigning training to staff
Individual assignments
Assign a program to one person:
Go to Learning from the main menu
Find the program you want to assign
Click Assign or Assign to Team
Search for the team member by name
Set a due date (optional)
Add a message explaining why (optional)
Click Assign
Bulk assignments
Assign to multiple people at once:
Go to the program page
Click Assign to Team
Select multiple team members from the list
Or select a team or department
Set a common due date
Click Assign All
Assigning from the team view
Go to your team management area
Select a team member
View their training profile
Click Assign Training
Browse and select programs
Confirm the assignment

Managing assignments
Viewing current assignments
See what's been assigned:
Go to the team training dashboard
View all active assignments
Filter by person, program, or status
See due dates and progress
Modifying assignments
Change an assignment:
Find the assignment in your dashboard
Click to edit
Change the due date
Add or update messages
Save changes
Removing assignments
If training is no longer needed:
Find the assignment
Click Remove or Cancel
Confirm the removal
The assignment is deleted
Note: This won't affect any progress already made.
Communicating with your team
Assignment notifications
When you assign training:
Staff receive an email notification
The program appears in their Learning hub
Due dates show in their dashboard
Reminders are sent as deadlines approach

Include a message with the assignment
Explain how it benefits them
Connect it to their role or goals
Offer support for completion
Follow-up conversations

Check in on progress
Offer help if they're struggling
Discuss what they've learned

Go to the team training area
View progress summaries
See who's on track or behind
Identify areas needing attention
Progress indicators
Track:
Not started — hasn't begun the program
In progress — working through content
Completed — finished the program
Overdue — past the due date
Completion reports
Generate reports showing:
Who has completed what
Overall completion rates
Time spent on training

Handling challenges
Staff member hasn't started
If someone hasn't begun:
Send a friendly reminder
Check if there are barriers
Discuss scheduling time for learning
Extend the deadline if appropriate
Staff member is struggling
If someone is having difficulty:
Offer support and resources
Allow more time if needed
Suggest breaking it into smaller sessions
Consider if the program is appropriate
Missed deadlines
When deadlines are missed:
