Changing Your Password
Regularly updating your password helps keep your account secure. We recommend changing your password every few months and whenever you suspect it may have been compromised.
When to change your password
Consider changing your password if:
It's been more than three months since your last change
You've shared it with someone temporarily
You've used it on a public or shared computer
You received a suspicious sign-in notification
You're using the same password elsewhere
How to change your password
Go to Settings from the main menu
Click the Security tab
Find the Password section
Click Change Password
Enter your current password
Enter your new password
Confirm your new password
Click Update Password
You'll see a confirmation message when your password has been updated.
Creating a strong password
A strong password protects your business data. Follow these guidelines:
Do
Use at least 12 characters — longer is stronger
Mix character types — combine uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and symbols
Make it memorable — use a passphrase you can remember
Use a password manager — to generate and store complex passwords
Don't
Avoid personal information — no birthdays, names, or business names
Skip common words — "password", "123456", or "qwerty" are easily guessed
Don't reuse passwords — each account should have its own password
Avoid patterns — sequential numbers or keyboard patterns are weak
Example of a strong password
Instead of: Tourism2024!
Try: purple-koala-surfs-reef42
Passphrases like this are both strong and memorable.
