Connecting Stripe

Stripe Dashboard

Your Stripe Dashboard is separate from Launchpad and lets you:

  • View all transactions

  • Configure payout schedules

  • Download financial reports

  • Manage refunds

  • Handle disputes

Access it at dashboard.stripe.com.

Payout configuration

Setting your payout schedule

In your Stripe Dashboard:

  • Go to Settings > Payouts

  • Choose your payout frequency:

- Daily — get funds every business day - Weekly — get funds every week - Monthly — get funds once per month

  • Set your preferred day (for weekly/monthly)

  • Save changes

Payout timing

Funds typically take:

  • 2-3 business days for domestic cards

  • 5-7 business days for international cards

Weekends and holidays may add time.

Understanding fees

Standard Stripe fees

Stripe charges per successful transaction:

  • Domestic cards — 1.75% + $0.30

  • International cards — 2.9% + $0.30

  • No monthly fees — you only pay when you get paid

Example

For a $200 booking paid with an Australian credit card:

  • Transaction fee: $200 × 1.75% + $0.30 = $3.80

  • You receive: $196.20

Managing multiple accounts

If you have multiple Stripe accounts:

  • Click Change Stripe Account

  • Sign in to the correct Stripe account

  • Confirm the new connection

Disconnecting Stripe

If you need to disconnect:

Note: Disconnecting means you can't accept online payments until you reconnect.

Troubleshooting

Connection failed

If the connection doesn't complete:

  • Check your internet connection

  • Try a different browser

  • Clear your browser cache

  • Ensure pop-ups are allowed

  • Try again from the start

Verification issues

If Stripe asks for additional verification:

  • Check the email from Stripe for specific requests

  • Provide the requested documents

  • Wait for Stripe's review (usually 1-2 business days)

  • Contact Stripe support if delayed

Payments not appearing

If a customer payment isn't showing:

  • Check your Stripe Dashboard for the transaction

  • Look in Launchpad booking records

  • Verify the payment completed (not just attempted)

  • Check for any error messages

  • Contact support if the payment exists but isn't syncing

Wrong Stripe account connected

If you connected the wrong account:

  • Disconnect the current account

  • Reconnect with the correct account

  • Outstanding payouts go to the original account

Security best practices

Protect your Stripe account

  • Enable two-factor authentication

  • Use a strong, unique password

  • Only access from trusted devices

  • Review activity regularly

Keep credentials secure

  • Never share Stripe login details

  • Only Admins should manage payment settings

  • Review who has access to your Stripe Dashboard

Stripe powers secure payments for millions of businesses — now including yours.
