Accepting Team Invitations
You've received an invitation to join a tourism organisation on Launchpad. Here's how to accept and get started.
Finding your invitation
Check your email for a message from Launchpad with the subject line "You've been invited to join [Organisation Name]".
If you can't find it:
Check your spam or junk folder
Search for emails from [email protected]
Ask the person who invited you to resend it
Accepting the invitation
Open the invitation email from Launchpad
Click the Accept Invitation button in the email
You'll be taken to Launchpad in your browser
If you already have a Launchpad account
Sign in with your existing email and password
You'll be added to the new organisation automatically
You can now switch between organisations from your profile menu
If you're new to Launchpad
You'll see a registration form
Enter your details:
- Full name — how you want to appear to your team - Password — create a secure password (at least 8 characters) - Confirm password — enter it again to confirm
Accept the terms of service
Click Create Account
You're now signed in and part of the team.
Your first sign in
After accepting, you'll land on the organisation's dashboard. Take a moment to:
Explore the navigation — see what sections are available to you
Check your profile — make sure your details are correct
Review your permissions — understand what you can access
Your access depends on the role assigned to you by the person who invited you.
Understanding your access
When you join a team, you're assigned a role that determines what you can see and do:
Role | Typical access |
Staff | View bookings, manage assigned tasks, access customer details |
Manager | Everything Staff can do, plus create bookings, manage products |
Admin | Full access to all features except ownership transfer |
If you need different access, speak with your team's Owner or Admin.
Switching between organisations
If you belong to multiple organisations:
Click your profile icon in the top right
Look for Switch Organisation in the dropdown
Select the organisation you want to work in
Each organisation is completely separate — your role and access may differ between them.
Setting up your profile
Make a good impression by completing your profile:
Click your profile icon
Select My Profile
Add or update:
- Profile photo — helps your team recognise you - Phone number — for urgent contact - Job title — what you do in the organisation
Enabling security features
We recommend setting up two-factor authentication:
Go to Settings > Security
Follow the steps to enable 2FA
This protects both your account and your organisation's data.
Troubleshooting
Invitation link not working
Invitation links expire after 7 days. If yours has expired:
Contact the person who invited you
Ask them to resend the invitation from Settings > Team
"Already accepted" message
If you see this, you've already joined the organisation:
Go to launchpad.net.au
Sign in with your email and password
You should see the organisation in your account
Wrong email address
If the invitation went to the wrong email:
Contact the person who invited you
Ask them to cancel the invitation and resend to the correct address
Can't see expected features
Your role determines what you can access:
Check with your team Admin about your assigned role
They may need to adjust your permissions
Common questions
Can I decline an invitation?
Simply don't click the link. The invitation will expire after 7 days. You can also reply to the sender to let them know.
Will my personal data be shared?
Your name, email, and profile photo are visible to other team members. Your password and personal security settings remain private.
Can I leave the organisation later?
Yes. Contact your organisation's Owner or Admin to have your account removed, or reach out to Launchpad support.
