Team Member Profiles

Each team member in Launchpad has a profile that shows their details, role, and activity. Understanding how to view and manage these profiles helps you keep your team organised.

Viewing a team member's profile

  • Click on a team member's name in the list

  • Their profile opens showing all their details

Profile information

A team member's profile includes several sections:

Basic details

Field

Description

Full name

Their name as displayed across Launchpad

Email

The email address they use to sign in

Phone

Contact phone number (optional)

Job title

Their position in your organisation

Profile photo

Their avatar shown on bookings and comments

Role and access

Field

Description

Role

Their assigned role (Owner, Admin, Manager, Staff, or custom)

Permissions

Any custom permission overrides

Status

Active, Pending, or Deactivated

Locations

Which locations they can access (if applicable)

Activity information

Field

Description

Joined

When they accepted their invitation

Last active

When they last signed in

Invited by

Who sent their invitation

Editing a team member's profile

As an Owner or Admin, you can edit most profile fields:

  • Open the team member's profile

  • Click Edit Profile

  • Update the fields you want to change:

- Name - Job title - Phone number

  • Click Save Changes

What you cannot edit

  • Email address — the team member must change this themselves

  • Password — only the team member can reset this

  • Profile photo — only the team member can upload this

Editing your own profile

To update your own details:

  • Click your profile icon in the top right

  • Select My Profile

  • Click Edit Profile

  • Update your information:

- Full name — how you appear to your team - Email — requires verification if changed - Phone — for urgent contact - Job title — your position - Profile photo — click to upload a new image

  • Click Save Changes

Changing your email address

  • Go to My Profile

  • Click Change Email

  • Enter your new email address

  • Enter your password to confirm

  • Click Update Email

  • Check your new email for a verification link

  • Click the link to confirm

Your sign-in email updates once verified.

Uploading a profile photo

  • Go to My Profile

  • Click on your current photo or the placeholder

  • Select an image from your device

  • Crop and adjust as needed

  • Click Save

Photo tips:

  • Use a clear headshot

  • Square images work best

  • Keep file size under 5MB

  • Formats: JPG, PNG, or GIF

Team member status

Each profile shows one of three statuses:

Active

  • The member can sign in and use Launchpad

  • They appear in team lists and can be assigned to bookings

  • This is the normal, working state

Pending

  • An invitation was sent but not yet accepted

  • They cannot sign in yet

  • You can resend or cancel the invitation

Deactivated

  • The member's account is suspended

  • They cannot sign in

  • Their historical data is preserved

  • They can be reactivated later

Viewing permissions

To see exactly what a team member can access:

  • Open their profile

  • Click the Permissions tab

  • View their effective permissions by category

This shows:

  • Permissions from their role

  • Any custom overrides applied to their account

  • The combined result of both

From a team member's profile, you can:

Searching team members

To find a specific person:

  • Use the search box at the top

  • Type their name or email

  • Click on them to view their profile

Filtering the team list

Filter by status or role:

- Status — Active, Pending, or Deactivated - Role — Any standard or custom role - Location — Specific location (if applicable)

Exporting team data

To export your team list:

  • Click Export in the top right

  • Choose your format (CSV or Excel)

  • The file downloads to your device

The export includes:

  • Names and emails

  • Roles and statuses

  • Join dates and last active times

Privacy considerations

  • Team members can see basic details of other team members

  • Only Owners and Admins can view full profiles

  • Personal contact details may be hidden based on settings

  • Activity logs are only visible to Owners and Admins
