Accepting Partnership Requests

When travel agents, wholesalers, or tour operators discover your business, they may send you a partnership request. Here's how to review and respond to these incoming opportunities.

Finding partnership requests

  • Go to Trade from the main menu

  • Select Partners from the hub menu

  • Click the Requests tab

  • You'll see all pending partnership requests

You'll also receive a notification when new requests arrive.

Reviewing a request

Click on a request to see:

Partner information

  • Company Name — who's requesting to partner

  • Partner Type — travel agent, wholesaler, tour operator, or DMC

  • Website — link to their online presence

  • Location — where they're based

  • Contact Details — name, email, and phone

Their message

Many partners include a message explaining:

  • Why they want to work with you

  • Their customer base

  • Markets they serve

  • How they found you

Business credentials

If available, you may see:

  • Years in business

  • Accreditations

  • Industry memberships

  • References

How to accept a request

  • Review the partner's details

  • Click Accept Partnership

  • Set the partnership terms:

- Commission Rate — percentage they'll earn - Rate Sheet — which rate sheet to share - Contract — optionally require a signed agreement

  • Add a welcome message (optional)

  • Click Confirm

The partner is now added to your Partners list and receives a confirmation email with access to your trade rates.

Declining a request

If a partnership isn't right for you:

  • Click Decline Request

  • Choose a reason (optional):

- Not accepting new partners currently - Market overlap with existing partners - Not a good fit for our products - Other reason

  • Add a polite message (recommended)

  • Click Confirm Decline

The partner receives a professional notification.

Requesting more information

If you need more details before deciding:

  • Click Request Information

  • Specify what you'd like to know:

- Business credentials - Customer demographics - Marketing approach - Sales volume expectations

  • Click Send Request

The partner is notified and can respond with the additional information.

Tips for evaluating requests

  • Check their website — does it look professional and active?

  • Research the company — a quick search can reveal their reputation

  • Consider their market — do they reach customers you want to attract?

  • Look for alignment — will your products suit their customer base?

  • Start with standard terms — you can adjust later as the relationship develops

Managing your partnership criteria

Set criteria for the types of partners you're looking for:

- Preferred partner types - Geographic focus - Minimum requirements - Automatic acceptance rules (optional)

Every partnership request is an opportunity to expand your reach — take time to evaluate each one carefully.
